The Holidays
December 6, 2008Well, I just jumped the thanksgiving hurdle. I managed to get through mthat wonderful gluttonous holiday without having any leftovers in the fridge. Now it is time to get down to business. I have avoided working out long enough the last couple of years, I have moderately worked out. Mostly lifting weights and avoiding cardio like the plague. Now I am shifting gears and searching for balance in my workouts. I want to participate in more sports and get my weight down to a healthy 200 lb range give or take. I havent weighed that since I got out of the Marine Corps in 2002. But that is where I felt the best. I have tried to diet down but have found that life in the fire house is not condusive to losing weight. These guys love to eat. I have my work cut out for me but now I am motivated.
