Short term Goals
I met with my trainer today briefly. We discussed that it was not likely that I would be able to stick to the diet plan 100% on Christmas eve, and Christmas day. Let’s be realistic. I am now sitting at 249. The weight goal for January 2, 2009 is 242. I know that I should be able to pull this off. I might however need to up the cardio a little. I am excited that I can enjoy 2 meals outside my diet plan the next few days. I am more excited that I can get down to business after christmas.

I am sure you’ve heard this a thousand times, but the scale is too variable day to day to be your best guiode. It lets youknow how you are doing over time but day to day look in the mirror and check how your clothes are fitting you. Mucle is more dense than adipose tissue so the number in the scale is not the best measure of how you are doing.

Thanks for the tip. and yes you are right. i am just trying to maintain mini goals in my progress to a weight that I used to carry in my military days.
