Very cool Layne. I listened to the second broadcast and was interested in your comments about catabolism that occurs as we sleep. Last night I set out a protein shake and some BCAAs to take when I got up at night (which happens like clock work).

I read a book called Extreme Muscle Enhancement and the topic of catabolism was a key component. At my age, I've got to do all I can to avoid catabolism. I started BBing at 39 and have since put on 25 lbs of muscle drug free (I'm not 44). Last year was my best year ever. The major difference was BCAAs and never going to the gym on an empty stomach, even during prep (at least have some protein).

Take care and thanks for all you are doing to help natural bodybuilders.
