Ok guys, haven’t writte in a while.. been busy with my Reformer Pilates class (LOVE LOVE). I just completed the beginner series and I start my level one class tonight! I love it b/c it exhausts my muscles but at the same time I feel invigorated!! I am getting stronger and stronger everyday. The resistance on the Reformer is intense! I love it.. and am looking leaner and leaner each week! I’ve religiously stuck to my diet even when eating out.. I am making wise choices and small portions!! Last 2 weeks have lost 4 lbs! For so long was "stuck" and feelin discouraged but I think I’ve found my niche now and am super stoked about it.. FOR ALL THOSE WHO FEEL STUCK ~ just find your niche.. try everything until you find something you can enjoy or at least tolerate without it feelin like a total chore and then its all about porton control with the diet and eating TONS of veggies, protein and salads.. for me anyway! I have to say that I am VERY proud of me seeing as though the last 2 weeks have included dinners out, parties, and even a BBQ!! And I was able to STILL lose weight.. WOW WHAT A FEELIN!! Is all I can say.. And, I’m not stopping anytime soon!!  YAY FOR ME!! PROUD OF ME!! On a roll.. and gonna keep on rollin!!

Hey guys!! Just looking for some of you who might be just like me.. starting out on this "healthy" journey ~ a beginner like little ole me.. I’m just a normal girl, not a body builder… I like to walk on the treadmill and am starting a beginner pilates class tonight.. Looking for any support I can get from any of you out there… newbies or not!!  THANKS!! Oh, check out my on the wagon again blog too..

Ok.. so vacation is over and I didn’t lose the weight I wanted to.. which almost makes me even MORE motivated now.. My new goal date is my Birthday on Sept 23rd.. and I’m going to do it.. I am starting my very first beginner reformer pilates class tonight.. wish me luck! I have done mat classes in the past but not for a few years now.. and really enjoyed it but always wanted to try the reformer! I’m hoping its something that I love so that I "actually" look forward to the class every week!! And, back on Jenny Craig which has worked for me over the past 14 yrs when I’ve really wanted to be serious about my dieting.. since I know, I obviously need the boost and one on ones with the consultants to keep me on track… sad to say but true.. at least I know myself and know this works for me..

I have already lost about 6lbs and started the Monday after I got back from the beach.. I am more motivated than ever.. and will let you know how I like my class tonight!  Thanks for listening to me ramble!! Keep on motivating me guys.. I NEED it!!

ok.. so I know I have a problem with sticking to the gym ~ I get tired, not trying to blame it on being a woman and the monthly issues that go along with it.. but yea I kinda am!! So, I took a week off from gym.. and thought that going back last night would be extremely hard for me… but once I got there, I felt strong, motivated, and determined to have a good workout!! It’s amazing how just making the effort to step through the front doors is the hardest part sometimes!! Does anyone else feel like this??
Anyway, I have 10lbs or so to lose before my beach vacation.. I know that its possible.. I just really have to focus and not vere off my eating plan (which I also did last week thanks to Cinco de Mayo) ~ its soooooooooooo hard to keep on it.. especially in this city… one week is French Quarter Fest, next is NO Jazz Fest.. where there is amazing food at every corner!! Living here in New Orleans, makes it severly challenging since all we do is party here! There is an excuse to party at any given moment.. and last week.. well it was Cinco de Mayo for me… I managed to eat at home on May 5th.. made my own "healthy" chicken burrito on wheat tortilla, salsa and 2% cheese.. wheat chips.. but later on in the week.. I did have resturaunt fajitas.. still not so bad I guess, considering..
So, needless to say.. no weight loss.. which obviously wouldn’t expect after all that eating and DosXX that we partook in~

Anyways, I’m prepared to say "NO" to any new invitations to dinner or parties at least for the next 2 weeks or so.. am really determined to see SOME change in the near future!! Thanks for listening guys!! HAVE A GREAT WEEK!!

Finally!

Ok guys! I finally am 2lbs down on scale.. have totally revamped diet.. and its already working.. who was the one that said its more about diet than exercise is right! Although I’m still doing the gym.. not throwin in the towel there.  I have added some strength training to my workouts and am hoping that this will help with fat loss too! Trying to mix it up a bit so I won’t get so bored with going to the gym.. How does all that sound? Good?? I’m staying focused, and positive and keep on trying to live healthy!

Ok.. I’ve been religiously going to the gym for 2 weeks now.. doing cardio to try to blast some fat off ~ trying desperately to lose weight.. eating healhty NOTHING bad and sticking with it….. and scale this morning shows that I’ve gained since starting.. I use to just diet and not workout and lose WTF!!! I don’t want to hear that muscle weighs more shit.. blah blah blah… I’m in same clothes, not fitting any different..Am I just spinning my wheels or what? I’m going to Pilates this evening… b/c I use to do years ago and it was the only things that got me lean and trim.. I dont know what to do honestly.. Pls leave comment..     Thanks for listening to me rant and vent you guys… :(
