week three

November 20, 2009

Well it’s week three of the stronglifts 5×5 workout, and I have definately have had some increase in my strength. Just look at my stats. I have noticed my squat going up as well as deadlift and benchpress. My workout consists of: Squat(main exercise), benchpress, deadlift, barbell row, pullups, pushups, chinups (as finishers)and a few ab exercises here and there. These counpound exercises will surely add some more mass on my frame. I will be working on gaining mass until my regimen is over and spring rolls around, and that is when I will lose a little bit of fat, and try to "cut" myself. At this time I will also be incorporating more "core" (ab) exercises.  Now, I dont have much time to add a whole bunch just yet, but I will surely add some better posts. I’m just gonna sum it up with a new 300$ bench + a 250$ 300 pound olympic weightset, a real good diet high in calories, carbs, protein, and fat = monster size gains. You also need to throw in some drive and focus. N.O. explode helps alot too :) . My weight goal is to pass 190 pounds. Now at the beginning of the regimen I was 181 (aprox) so I must be close to 190 now. hitting 200 would be splendid. Check back in for the next update, and see how i’m doing! thanks or all the support people.

Pissing me off..

December 16, 2007

Well I have been lifting weights for 3 years now, I got into a stage where I was ripped as hell, and weighing 160 pounds. I am now upping my clorie intake and taking a small amount of creatine to gain some mass and weight, yet with no effect… I am eating 4000 calories per day, and hitting the weights harder then before, with no change in weight. I have gone through a 10 pound pail of mass gainer and starting on my second, with not 1 pound of weight gained for a year now… I am pissed off about this and don’t know what’s left to do to gain some mass… maybe sticking to a strict weightlifting schedule, and eating more carbs and fat will gain me the mass I need, only time will tell. hopefully by the spring, i will weigh around the 170-180 mark. That is my goal for now.
