Have you ever noticed….
When you are dieting, everyone around you looks at you like you are crazy?? Today at work was a classic example, given I realize eating the same thing day in and day out multiple times a day doesn’t appeal to most, but when I bust out scrambled eggs and a small portion of cottage cheese I had the look of OMG what are you doing…hehe…
People simply do not understand that with great sacrifice comes great reward, and thus if I must eat this way to meet my goals it is well worth it! I realize most people can’t or won’t eat the way I am because it isn’t the most appetizing way to consume food, but it kinda cracks me up that they have to react in such a way.

It happens to me all the time now. I don’t ask them why they eat "bad" so why should they worry about me. That is the bad part about going against the grain. Keep up the good eating, and good luck on your goals.

I am with you. It cracks me up that they find all food that isn’t covered with salt, sugar or dressing to be tasteless. To me the natural flavor of veggies and meats is refreshing (unless it is the non-food: protein, wheatgrass or ACV, which generally tastes like a$$, but like you say I do it because its good for me). Can you imagine cavemen saying "Oh I just couldn’t have my steak without a side of fries and a coke"? How did they survive?!?!

My company stocks our break room with food. Much of it is junk or mega carbs, but there is healthy stuff too. When I make my big salad in the break room, the look I see form my co-workers is usually "can I have some???"
Lettuce mix
Tomatoes
Turkey breast diced up
Sometimes avocado
A light balsamic which I bring from home.

I get that all the time! I usually eat the same thing everyday (im too lazy) and at work they’re basically like "again??" YES again…who cares!!! Stay focused on your goals

I try to look at my food as "Fuel". It’s hard to not get sick of tuna , chicken and cottage cheese. When someone pushes junk food on me , I just say " I don’t enjoy eating that stuff , so why would I? " It’s just too bad that so many people can’t stop eating that way. Or at least keep it in moderation. We all need a break once in a while!
