I Voted!!
It is obvious to say the least that voting is a big deal. While I don’t understand how the electoral college works completely, I am a firm believer in the notion that you can’t really comment about the way things go one way or another if you don’t cast your vote. For that reason each election I make it out to vote.
It isn’t that big of a deal to put my opinions on a ballot, and being from a small town our local issues on the ballot can come down to one or two votes so for that reason it is HUGE to be there for the vote.
While my little vote may not affect the larger picture of president I can hope that my vote coupled with hundreds of other one votes will and they will in the end be in the best interest of my tax dollars, my best interest and my safety within the U.S.

I agree completely. No one has the right to complain if they don’t vote. If you don’t vote you are basically saying that I am for whoever wins. Good for you for voting.

Awesome Crystal.
I heartily agree. Regardless of where one falls politically, voting is a privilege. One that the majority of people in the world don’t have. Can’t complain if you don’t participate in the process.
Way to go. Have a great afternoon. And no having to wait in a long line after work today……

Your voice deserves to be heard! I don’t really care who you voted for, I only care that you got out and made a difference… I wish more Americans would get off their lazy @$$ and vote. BTW, I voted absentee since I am stationed overseas right now so I don’t just talk the talk. Have a great day!!

Just imagine if we had higher than upper 30, low 40% of eligible people vote! Thank you for realizing that each vote does count…in the big picture!

These old cliche’s are so stupid. First, it’s a free country and people can do what they want with regards to speach, and these includes complaining.
Second, voting out of ignorance is far worse than not voting at all. The stupid saying that it’s everyone’s job to vote needs to go. Voting is a right, and needs to be reserved for those that get off their lazy a$$ and get educated on the candiates and issues on the ballot. Then and only then should they vote. But with the thought that everyone should vote, basically is no difference than pulling the old Christmas Tree answering on the ACT test.
Stop telling people they need to vote, and start telling people to make intelligent decisions, or leave those decisions up to the people that can actually read and write.
