This morning at 5:00, I went outside with the dog to light rain. By the time I got my morning routine completed and finished the inside portion of my leg workout, it was raining at a steady, but tolerable pace. I went outside, hit the 3-mile interval with the included rope jumping, traveling lunges, and bounds. It was a sloppy affair! But it was great to get the workout done in spite of the rainy weather.
After completing the workout and shower, it was my plan to take my mid-week profile pictures. The problem is that the rain went from steady to torrential. I decided to wait until tomorrow and put up a picture from last Friday as a profile and banner picture. It doesn't look too bad! LOL!
I hope that all of you are having a great day and not suffering from post-holiday letdown. I certainly can say that because of the cloudy, rainy weather and all that I did on yesterday to help my mom, I a bit flat this morning. I decided, however, to get moving. Once I got moving the workout gained its own momentum and I the next thing you know, I had completed the last rep and stretch. After that, in spite of the rain, the cardio portion of the workout went very well.
Tomorrow is ab day with the last 3-mile run of the week. I am already beginning to feel the impact of today's leg workout, so I know that tomorrow's run will be interesting! " title=">" />

3 x 35 Squats with 20-pound weighted vest and dumbbells
3 x 35 Calf Raisers with 20-pound weighted vest and dumbbells
3 x 1-Minute Static Squat with 20-pound weighted vest
3 x 1-Minute Calf Raiser with 20-pound weighted vest
