Monday-November 12, 2012-Intercycle Week 1, Day 2
How I managed to get up on time this morning is a mystery. Yesterday afternoon, I made myself a mocha (coffee and chocolate) and drunk it, thinking that it would have little if any effect on me as far as sleeping later on that night. Usually, there is no problem. However, at 3:00 am, there I was wide awake! It took what felt like an eternity for me to fall back asleep. When the alarm went off at 5:00 am, I surprisingly got my old butt up and got moving! LOL!
Needless to say, I won't be drinking any coffee in the evenings in the near future.
I pushed through the morning routine and knew that I was not at my best for the full bodyweight workout, so I did the Tabata workout and run with some vigorous stretching. Tomorrow I will hit the full bodyweight workout. The Tabata workout went very well and I was able to push myself hard over the shorter workouts. Right now I am ready, however, for a nap! LOL!

- Stretching Regimen
- TABATA WORKOUT:
- Half-Burpees (20 sec)
- Rest (10 sec)
- Push-ups (20 sec)
- Rest (10 sec)
- Jump Squats (20 sec)
- Rest (10 sec)
- Air Pulls (20 sec)
- Rest (10 sec)
- CARDIO-TABATA RUN:
- Run (20 sec)
- Walk (10 sec)
- Repeat 12 Times for 6-minute
