Friday-February 3, 2012-Week 4 of Cycle 27 Completed!
Up at the usual 5:00 am time. Got out with the dog, trash, other chores, coffee, Bible Study, and prayer, MORE COFFEE
, and then on to the full bodyweight workout with the 20-pound weighted vest. Before the main workout, I hit my 450 (5 x 90) push-ups and stretching routine. Then I went outside in the beautiful weather. I took my time and really worked on the form for each exercise, given the low reps. I completed my 1-mile walk with the weighted vest after completing all of the elements of the workout and then hit a surprisingly good 2-mile run, considering the workout's impact on my legs. I finished in 12:28 (6:14 mile pace). I am happy with this week's workout because I was able to get through every workout without having do miss and do a double! It felt good to get in this solid week of work!
I thank everyone for the encouraging blog comments and picture ratings. It certainly helped to lift my spirits. Yesterday I was a bit out of it and feeling somewhat discouraged, but when I read my blog comments yesterday, I felt much better! Thank you!
