Tuesday-November 16, 2010-Light Bodyweight Workout #1
Today's light bodyweight workout was just enough to get me moving and burn off some of the "oppressive energy" without getting exhausted from a normal workout. It just felt very good to get moving again! I added one tuck planche to the very beginning of the workout, just to see how my strength is! It felt great and the 40 seconds went by quickly without a loss of form.
I went outside for a 1-mile walk, rope-jumping, and a 1-mile run. The run went well. I decided that since it was only 1 mile, I would push somewhat. I completed it in 5:50! This is probably a personal best for a 1-mile run, but I have not been recording those times. Perhaps my runs are starting to become more like sprints! LOL! My goal is to hit a 5 minute mile pace at some time! I heard somewhere that the former President "W" Bush can run a 5 minute mile. If he can do it, so can I! :D Anyway, I guess you all will be bored with the next two blogs because I will be doing EXACTLY the same thing for the next two days! The "old man" needs his rest!
After yesterday's carb-fest, today I ate cleanly! I'm back on track!
I hope that the week has been going well for everyone.
Here is what I did today:
