I continue to work towards doing those planche push-ups. The progress is slow but steady. I had a good training session today. I also took a few progress pics today. I’m getting ready to go very LOW CARB for the week to see if I can work on bringing the back out some more. The chest continues to progress. LOL! One pec seems to be lagging ! The back, however, as the chest improves becomes the new focus. I look forward to feedback and suggestions. I also appreciate all of the great ratings and feedback that I’ve received over the past few weeks.
Anyway, I hope everyone has a great work week and great workouts! Here is what I did today:

I’ve had a very busy day today. I completed my leg training and planche-pushup training earlier today and headed right out to pick my grandmother up for her post-hospital follow-up appointment with her doctor. We are trying to be diligent about monitoring her kidney function and manage her congestive heart disease. Thus far, she is doing well.
The workout was great. I continue to get stronger with the tuck planche position and have been concentrating on good form with the leg exercises. I can see the quads starting to gain some definition. My cardio was good because I’ve integrated rope-jumping into the interval 3 mile run. My legs have begun to improve as a result of this addition to my workout.
Here is what I did today:
|
3 x 35 Squat Thrusts
3 x 35 Calf raisers-Bricks
3 x 35 Overhead Squats
3 x 3 min. Walking Calf raises

Completed my planche push-up training, ab superset, and chest workout today. I was able to push my way through it in spite of the fact that I’m tired. I have not been able to just sit and/or get a really good night’s sleep for about a week. I decided that today, although there are some things that I want to do, I would take a nap. LOL! Perhaps I’m getting old after all.
The workout was very good. The run was very slow today, but given the temperature outside, I will take it. I’m working legs on tomorrow and look forward to challenging them some more. Still trying to maintain a clean diet and shed more fat. We’ll see how it is going in the next progress pics.
I’m ready for that nap.

Had a good arm and shoulder workout. Noticed, however, that the reps were definitely easier today. It is growing more imperative that I purchase heavier weights. I had a fun run out in the rain today. I’m amazed that I like to run in the rain. I wouldn’t have dreamed of doing that three years ago. I did, however, vow to myself that I would be consistent with my workouts and make no excuses for doing my cardio (rain, sleet, snow, whatever…like the postal service LOL ). Anyway, I hope that everyone is having a great day!
Today is my Mom’s birthday, so I’m about to put a few things on the grill!
Have a great remainder of your day everyone! Here is what I did today:

I was so busy putting up new progress pics that I forgot to write this brief BodyBlog entry. I completed my planche training today. It went well. I continue to gain strength. As mentioned above, I put up some new progress pics. After the "success" of my last pics (meaning the comments and ratings were very encouraging), I was a bit apprehensive about this new set of pics. I appreciate all of the comments and ratings from friends and visitors to my page. I veered slightly away from the diet during this past week so I didn’t gain as much definition. I had a very hectic schedule and did not have time to eat as much or as cleanly as I should have. I will be back on a tighter diet on tomorrow.
I’m wishing everybody a very productive work week and outstanding workouts!

I had another great workout! Got started late because I was conferring with Grandma’s doctors over follow-up appointments and meds. Also have to go pick up her new mattress in a few minutes…after the rain clears out.
I worked my back today and did planche training. I’m really amped about the progress of my planche training. I’m thinking about doing one more week of the tuck planche at 25 seconds and moving the next three weeks of tuck planches to 30 seconds. I am getting closer to that magic 1 minute mark. Has NOT been easy, but worth the challenge.
Everyone have a safe, fun, and perhaps, restful weekend! That is what I’m shooting for! LOL!
Here’s what I did today:
3 x 35 Dead Lifts
3 x 35 Push-up Rows 3 x 35 Reverse Push-ups

I had a very good ab workout today and, in spite of the heat and humidity, a very good two mile run today (15:00). Not much else going on except that I am somewhat tired. I’m looking forward to getting a little "me" time other than the workouts. LOL! Need a glass of good wine, some good music, and a little peace. I’m looking forward to this weekend. I’ve declared Sunday—off-limits. I will be doing my paperwork for my job on tonight so as not to have any distractions. Maybe I will write on my book.
I hope everyone is having a great Thursday! One more day until the weekend!

I had a great leg workout today! LOL! I did my regular leg workout, plus the walking I’ve done today running errands for family. My legs are actually sore! I also did planche training which is going pretty well. I need to take a picture of my tuck planche. I’m doing 25 second intervals now. I’ve got to get it up to a minute.
The diet is clean today because I have only eaten ONE meal…a huge spinach salad with chicken. I didn’t have time to eat today like I should have. I will eat more tomorrow.
Anyway, I’m sore AND tired ! I enjoyed the workout, but need to rest tonight.
Here is what I did way earlier today! LOL!
