Thursday-March 26, 2009-Back but out of control.

The first workout of this week for me! I’m fighting to get things back on track. I’m not happy at this moment. Internet Explorer 8 crashed my computer and I took an entire day to reformat my hard drive. I went back to IE7 and probably will wait to purchase a new computer running windows 7 and IE8. Hopefully, the bugs will be worked out by then. On Tuesday I went to court for a ticket that was going to be thrown out and had to wait 2.5 hours just to see the judge for 1 minute. :( I continue to do my usual family errands and this week, for some reason, has been brutal. It seems like EVERYONE needs something. Additionally, my step-father who basically ignores any health advice from us has suffered complications from a "minor" sugery and is in the hospital.

I have a ton of work to do, but was determined to get the workout in. I doubled up workouts today (arms & shoulders and leg workout) and will do the same on tomorrow (chest and back). It was a great workout, I’m just mad that things are spinning out of control, most of which has NOTHING to do with me! LOL! :) Sunday, I will do Thursday’s ab workout and planche training and hope that Monday I can regain some control of my time.

Tomorrow, I have to do some banking for an aunt, take my niece to school (just found that out), and take my mother to see my step-father. BUT, the workout will be done. Hopefully, things will settle down by the weekend!

Here is what I did today:

3 x 25 Hammer Curls 

3 x 25 Overhead Triceps Extensions 

3 x 25 Military Press 

3 x 25 Upright Rows 

  

3 x 25 Lateral Dumbbell Raises 

3 x 25 Squats 

3 x 25 Seated Calf raisers 

  

3 x 25 1-Leg Squats 

3 x 25 1-Leg Calf raisers 

  

3 x 15 Chin-ups

3 x 50 Reverse Crunches

  

Cardio

3 x 25 Jumping Jacks 

3 x 25 Windmills 

3 x (2 x 40 yd) Agility Drills 

3 x (2 x 40 yd) sprints 

2 Mile run

    Hope things settle down Andrew. One reason I hit the gym at 5am is to avoid all the the schedule conflicts that life throws at me. Especially to avoid sacrificing much family time to consistent workouts.

    Hang in there.

    Thanks Al! Hopefully, things will be quieter by Monday and I can gain some control. I’m going to start making some days off-limits.
