Today I made up my ab workout from last week and continued with my planche push-up training. This begins a "light" week of workouts. I will work chest and back twice this week and abs only once. I will do a 1-mile power walk after each workout. I didn’t want to take the entire week off. The planche training is going well. The arms are straightening up and I will work the tuck-planche throughout the next seven weeks gradually adding time in the position until I reach one minute. Here is what I did today:
(Circuit w/2 minutes rest)
3 x 25 Push-ups (25 pound backpack)
3 x (2 x 20) Cross-Body Mountain Climbers
3 x 1.0 min.-Side Plank
3 x (2 x 20) Spider Man Push-up
3 x 1.0 min. Front Plank
3 x 1.0 min. Evacuations
3 x 25 Push-ups
Planche Training:
Tuck Planche:
6 x 10 seconds with 2 minutes rest between each
Pseudo Push-ups: 2 x 30 (2 minute rest between each set)
Cardio:
1 Mile Power Walk
