Bionic woman anyone?
It’s funny, this morning for some reason, while I doing my uphill sprints, I kinda felt like the Bionic Woman (not the new one, the old one) when she’s running really fast. Not because I was running fast, no, because I was running so slow. You know, in the Bionic Woman, they’d slow everything down, play that funny ying-ying-ying sound and that was supposed to mean she was running really fast? Know what I mean? Well, I had that funny sound running through my head this morning, while I was sprinting up the hill for the 5th or 6th time. Strangely enough, it kinda helped me to keep a more uniform pace up the hill but still is that weird or what? Maybe it’s just me.
I decided to skip the plyo today and concentrate solely on doing uphill sprints, 30 sec per 2 sets of 30m and 2 min rest between sets.
15 minutes warmup and stretching
30 minutes for uphill sprint drills, 12 sets x 30m, 8 sets x 60m (last 2 60m were a killer)
15 minutes cooldown and stretching
