Time to play nice…
I almost forgot, Greek Week 2008 is coming, I’ve been looking forward to it all semester. Greek Week is a springtime event when members of the Greek community come together to raise money for charity (it’s the American Cancer Society this year). Each sorority is paired with a fraternity and together they compete in a variety of events to win points. Typical events are like the tug of war, group sing, egg toss, that sort of thing. Apparently this year there is an armwrestling contest and I’m being tapped because I "workout". I guess it’s not a big deal, it is a same sex competition. Between you and me though if I have to do this I’d almost prefer to take on a guy instead. One, if I lose no big deal it was expected, or two, I somehow win, then I’m some sort of superchick, it’s a win-win situation for me. I really hate to lose, but I guess it will be fun, it’s all for charity right? I’d rather think about playing co-ed flag football instead, I think we have a good chance to do well in that.

That is so great! I love it when I read or hear about people getting involved in their community and charity projects. Keep me updated on events you win!
