Lacrosse?
I was running on the indoor track, while I was doing my cool down, I was approached by this older gentleman who says "Hi, you look like you’re in good shape. I’m the coach of the women’s lacrosse team, would you be interested in playing for our team?" It kinda caught me off guard and I think it kinda showed. We talked for a bit, and then I kindly thanked him, but I had to say no. I don’t know the first thing about lacrosse and while I was flattered he thinks I’m in good enough shape to play, I just have too much on my plate right now. But I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it.
So can anyone explain to me what lacrosse is?

Lacrosse is a great game although I’ve never played….always wanted too! It’s very big on the east coast, not so much out here on the best coast.
It’s a game where you use a stick with a net on the end and you try to score in little goals while passing the ball down the field. You wear a helmet and shoulder pads and there is some contact. When I was at the University of Oregon they had just started up a women’s club team but no men’s darn it!
I see that you are in Washington….the Portland Lumberjax are a professional Lacrosse team that play at the Rose Garden.
