I’m no ordinary girl, I can do a pullup now!

Last week I noticed that I only needed like 20lbs of assistance on the Gravitron and this last weekend I was able to do some lat pulldowns at my bodyweight.  So today I decided to give real pullups a try.

And… drum roll please…I FINALLY DID IT, YES I FINALLY DID IT!!
After 2 months of trying, I did my first real pull-up today.  Correction- my first TWO Andi-only powered pullups, then I needed a spot the rest of the way.  Ok ok I guess it’s not that much of an accomplishment, but as a girl, being able to do finally do a pullup is a major achievement, I know most of my friends can’t do one.   I’ve been trying to do a real pullup for a while now so I’m excited that I actually achieved my goal and it’s only February!  Thanks to all the great suggestions on bodybuilding.com!  Looking forward to conquering the next challenge!!

Congratulations, Andrea! All the hard work has paid off! Keep setting your goals and reaching them. Once you’re done with that set more goals and continue the process. Good luck!
