I won my competition and what an aweseome feeling of achievement that was, not just the win, that was the icing on the cake, but the fact I came up looking better than my first comp.
This blog is late but I thought I had better update :-)

Im now in prep for the WNBF Asia-Pacific Championships and am striving for a bigger and better physique.

7 weeks out

I feel really confident each week as I look at my progress pictures.  With the bodyfat melting away and my mad new trainer (Dad) doing up my weights programs I can see some huge improvements in my physique.

I have mad great gains in my shoulders, exactly the plan as this was a weak point.  A weak point no longer :-) .  I have an amazing v-taper.  My back is coming in thicker and wider than last time.  My legs are cutting already and I have noticed more of a sweep in the quads this time.

I am happy with my progress and am on target to creating a better physique then my last comp.

I just need to keep doing what im doing and it will all fall into place!

Back on target, no more mind games!

Right now I am 8 1/2 weeks out from my comp.  I am feeling very positive due to the improvements I have been making.  My shoulders are bigger and defined already.

My lats have spread, I have wings lol.

All I really need to do is try to maintain my muscle and continue to shed the bodyfat.

Most importantly, I need to stay positive :-)

Self doubt

I am now less then 10 weeks out of my comp.  I have been mentally doing so well, until today.

My training and nutrition is spot on and I and transforming nicely.  So why am I getting cold feet?  I thought I was over these self doubts, I guess not.

I think when things are stressful in your life it tends to make you see things differently when it comes to comp time.

Anyway after speaking to a good friend and getting things off my chest I am feeling much better.  I am focused on my physique and I am determined to stand on stage in better condition then ever!

 Self-doubt is not a weakness, it is just something we all go through and it is part of the transformation and the sport.

We get past it, and move on to better things.

The festive season is over and it was a fantasic one :-) .

 But now it is time to knuckle down and hook into my weight training and nutrition as I am only 15 weeks out from my next comp.

Having the last two weeks of rest will only prove to be beneficial to my muscles in the long run.  I am suffering some major DOMS right now but it is to be expected.

I must stay completely focused and in the zone!

Time to build muscles

Since my comps are now over for this year it is now time to for to put my efforts into building muscles.  Dieting can really takes its toll and I had been dieting for 19 weeks straight!

I have a great new program to follow (written by my father) and it will definately bring on some good gains.

Today I did quads, hams and abs.  Hope to be able to walk tomorrow ;-) .  My short term goals on squats are to reach 100kg again.  And then push on from there for some PB’s.
