birthday on the 18th

the 18th november is my 41st birthday and i have a beats of a workout planned, cant wait to show up the young pups in the morning.

i even managed to exceed my max heart rate today while doing my CV session. im fitter now than i was at 20!!

training going great

had another total beast of a session this morning. even started to see growth in my biceps and can feel it in my T-shirts on the sleeves. maybe its time to start buying mediums instead of small sizes ;)

quads are getting bigger too. fantastic!

quickly approaching 41

as the time speeds towards me reaching 41 on 18th of November i’ve focused on training like im 20 again and beast every session i get. cant wait to hit 50 and still look better than most 25 year olds!!

inspirational members

i have recently been lucky enough for some members in my friends list to add me as an inspirational friend.

i would like to thank these members who have done this.

it really gives me a great sense of achievement and happiness to think that what i take for granted as a way of life and do on a daily basis can be inspiring to people and help people to work towards their own personal goals. i consider myself to be a very fortunate individual to be lucky enough to have these people find me an inspiration, so once again a big THANK YOU to these friends and i hope that i can keep being an inspiration to you and many others in the future.

another saturday arrives

well another week of heavy training is over as saturday marks my rest day for the week. training is going well and i’m feeling a major change in clothing around my thighs. my planned deep squats and sissy squats program is working. im gona have thighs like tom platz next year . . . . . . . . . . . . i hope!!!!!

training for 2010 shows

hiya, just recently started my training for 2010 shows with the intention of being absolutely fantastic.

think i’ve sussed out the get bigger part of the diet and certainley know how to strip down bodyfat.

i felt that maybe my legs let me down this yaer so now doing 10 sets of squats with high reps and KG between 110kg-150 to get them BIG. even added sissy squats into it too and thats on top of my normal workout. i think i’d be best to get a mattressin the gym with the time i’m spending there.

 

wouldnt change it for the world! ;-D

get bigger or strip to fight?

hey, i’ve been given the potential chance of getting my 1st MMA fight in october but was planning to train for size.

im 15 stone just now but wasa wanting to try and hit 16-17stones.

at that weight i’d be a heavyweight but and at only 5′8" i’d be fighting guys at the top end of a 20 stone range.

should i strip weight to fight or go for the size increase. i dont have anymore shows this year so could easily do it and aim for getting bigger before my may show next year! love both bodybuilding and MMA so really torn with what to do

any help would be appreciated

marriage or showing?

hey folks, i just completed my final show for the year yesterday and after another 18 weeks of hard dieting my wife has said to me

"i’d never ask you to choose between marriage or shows and diets but im not going to go through this every year with you"

 

now; maybe to my untrained ear theres a chance i can still do my shows but me thinks that this was an ultimatum!!

 

just wondering what you folks would do? im not giving up my training and showing!!

back to normal service and goals

start back work tomorrow and my training should get back to heavy duty body punishment :)

goals for march/april

leg press 700kg

deadlift 230kg

peak with my diet 3 weeks before show time

 gona video my abs workout and post it too. nothing better for developing tough abs!
