BIGGEST loser…
Last night I watch the finale of this show. (I don’t usually watch) Am I the only one who became SO affected by this?? Well, I cried my eyes out. I became very emotional at seing these people who were literally DEAD MEN WALKING and who now actually were given a 2nd chance at life and look so healthy and happy. Most lost 100-200lbs!! With all the negativity in the world and in the media, seing positive success stories like these inspired and touched me so much. Think of them next time you don’t want to train or you have 10lbs to lose, most of them could barely WALK when they started…Wow!! Now, gotta go buy some kleenex!!
Were you moved by this?

I like the show. Bob and Jillian are awesome trainers.
I’m a big fan. Although I think Bill looked awesome compared to his twin bro Jim. I could have the names wrong. But the guy who won 100K looked diesel vs his brother. I was jealous over Bill’s guns.

I had never seen the show before, but started watching will flipping through channels and just couldn’t stop. I totally agree, how each of them completely turned their lives around in such a short time is amazing! We can all take a lesson that there is no challenge that’s too great to overcome if we just keep trying.

i havent followed it for a little while. I am usually in tears in the opening episode when they start talking about who and what they have to lose the weight for.
They all know they are on a quick road to the cemetary. Question is why they have to go on a second rate tv show when they all know what they have to do to get their life back.

Of all the reality TV shows, this one I think has huge potential to impact a LOT of lives. It’s amazing to see the transformation the contestants go through, and how, even when they’re kicked off, they’re not bitter or angry. Everyone walks away with such a positive feeling, which is what being fit and healthy should be all about!
My dream (though it would probably never happen) would be for me to be one of the trainers on that show. I think that would be a fun challenge.
Get some Kleenexes for me, too!

I have always watched this show and it’s really the only reality show I watch! The stories are inspirational and heartwarming but I think that sometimes it gives some viewers false expectations of what can be accomplished. They have these great results because they have trainers who watch over what they eat 24/7 and they work out constantly…that’s why they have such dramatic results. The average Joe/Jill on the street with a 9-5 and family obligations can’t expect to have these kinds of results and I think that can lead to disappointments…just my take.

when someone can help a pre-diabetic, high blood pressuer, and haven’t seen their feet in years. Then save there life, not to mention their marriage. SWEET!

I don’t watch that show but I do know that obese people have all sorts of diseases and disorders that somehow disappear when they lose the weight. that should be motivation enough huh? Sorry you had to buy kleenex….those things are expensive!!!

I agree. This is one of the few "feel good" shows that the media airs. (They should do a lot more like this.)
I don’t like to admit it, but I get emotional as well. These folks are getting a second chance at life, and the fact that it is a healthy one makes this all the more affecting.

yes…I guess that is what I enjoy most out of going to my gym, as opposed to working out in my garage. I love to see people show dedication to achieve their goals…new season of the show has begun and my daughter is addicted…I consider all the contestants winners

I enjoy watching the biggest looser also. I like the new partner one, It is somewhat inspirational. It shows how it is not easy but necisarry. I am really amazed how the majority of the people on the show really stick with it, i know its gotta be hard for them

i totally agree..i never got into this show until the last season its beyond inspiration… makes us realize 10, 20 even 30/40 lbs aint so hard and bad to lose!

I love that show. It is one of the main reasons I began living healthy again. I am gonna sound like a noob but the lyrics to the opening song really gets me inspired. "What have you done today to make you feel proud." I wish I could go on that show but I am not morbidly overweight just a little.

I love this show. It is a great motivator for me. I’d love to go through that experience, living on the campus, trainers 24/7 with nothing to do but focus on making myself better

I have not watched the biggest loser yet. But I did watch that one about walking across america. They started at about 250 to 500 lb and at the end they were so small. All from walking 4 hours a day and eating healthy. It was inspiring, and YES I did Cry at many of the episodes for happiness for them.

It’s a great show! We watch it every week without fail, at 8 ‘clock everything in our house stops. It’s a great show to watch and gives you a little extra insentive as mid week approuches. Also It will make you rethink that before bed snack too!

I started watching when they switched hosts. I couldn’t believe the guns one of the twins had at the finale. Good for him!
March 9, 2008 at 7:28 am
I started watching it last year. As a person who was well on his way to being a viable contestant on the show, i watched as these ppl over came unbelievable challenges. It was seeing the changes in these ppl that made me believe i could do it as well. I dont have a perosnal trainer looking over my every move and diet, but i do have a BB community that can give me any advise or motivation I may need. For those wondering…Ive lost 25lbs in 30 days and 7% body fat so far. Therefore, If I can do it…ANYONE can!!

I have just purchased a pack of trip2night from www.narcomundo.com. I paid around 30 dollars and the shipping was free. I emailed them to see how long it will take to get to me, but they have not emailed me back yet. The first week end night I get it I will try it and let you know if I like it or not. I will concentrate more on the things I do not like since the web sites selling it are promoting it enough and that is not my job. My job is to let the world know if there are any areas I do not like. I will get back to this after I try it.
