HUMP Day
Thursday, July 5th, 2007It most certainly feels like it! I bailed on my workout yesterday and celebrated the holiday. My husband, a couple of friends and I partied like rockstars! That’s the thing about getting in shape and partying, something has got to give. I’ve been hydrating all day and I made it to the gym during gym rush hour. I put in a fast and furious workout, 45 minutes, back and legs with 30 second rest periods. I was pressed for time. I didn’t break out a sweat (yes, I know why), but I could not lift one more of anything once I was done. I don’t know if there are any benefits to working out a muscle group back to back. It was something I had to do during gym rush hour, circuit training is impossible. I stayed away from working my quad, it’s still tender. I worked around the quad and hit everything else doing different exercises. I have an hour of cardio coming up in my garage.
