update..

Well thats the 2nd week of my new job over with. Got paid yesterday which was sooo good to see on my bank statement!

Although all the money I earned went on paying credit card off lol Thats christmas for you. Anyway was told my job is only contracted til 21st December, so I have looked and applied for like 7 jobs today, cos I dont want to be left in the shit again and not have any work for ages again. Was kinda gutted cos I thought it was longer than December.

Ah well, I finally did some weights today! After like 3 weeks of not doing any. Felt good, although i could see my breathe it was so damn cold in my garage, i just ignored how cold it was and got on and lifted weights and danced to the music while i was "resting" between sets, to try and help me keep warm.

Did chest, shoulders and abs today. Didnt hit them too hard as its been a while. But glad I did some :-) Yay me.

Off to have some food soon, am hungry. Then tune my new guitar I bought yesterday (electric!) going to teach myself guitar (my boyfriend is also learning) so thats cool :-)

Wohoooo!

Well I just weighed myself, and I am back down to 160.4lbs! Am well chuffed, went up to 163 last week which really got to me, but it seems even though I felt like Ive eaten a lot this week, most of it has been salad/pasta kind of things, and it seems that the walks I did with my 2dogs and my mum and being busy at work all week burned off those calories!

I even had a macdonalds on wednesday as a treat as hadnt had one in sooo long! Had a fish burger and diet coke, so not overly bad, but yummy!

Ok off to the shop then to walk the dogs with my mum again!

first week done…

Well thats my first week at my new job over with, now its friday it seems to have gone really quick! Went quite fast each day too, at certain times (apart from when im waitin for lunch time to come round, then it goes really slow!)

All was well at work, seem to have settled in ok, chatting to more people as the week went on and them to me. Is strange having a new person i guess.

As for exercise this week, been going on walks with my mum in the mornings, mon-thurs, had a lie in today as it was so damn cold!

Will do weights sat and sun as I havent had a chance to this week, plus one down side to having a home gym in the garage,is when its cold outside, its cold in the garage making it less appealing!

Anyway off to watch a new dvd i bought today.

Update soon. hopefully with good news!

I got a job!!!

On a happier note than this morning, I got a job today! Am well chuffed! Its temporary to start with and if I like it and they are happy with me then I can apply for being permanent.

As of monday I will be an Administrator Executive for a large Accountancy Firm :-)

So as I said to Miss T, I feel life has meaning again, as I was barely existing the past 7 weeks, and have been so miserable and down for the past 4 of them.

So wish me luck for monday people!!

Well I reluctantly got on the scales this morning and am now 163, thats +3lbs. Not good.

I ate shit yesterday so thats probably why. (not literally, i mean i just ate badly)

I started off well today with my jogging this morning through the wood/fields with one of my dogs for company.

I know I keep saying it but I am considering seriously doing v-diet starting monday. So many people have good results with it. We shall see.

I am feeling rather depressed at the minute what with having no job still ( I have some work sorted for all of december)but waiting til then is doing my nut in. I just cant get motivated for anything, and keep crying :’( :-( Its not good.

Why is it so ****ing hard to find work. All these people saying "start tomorrow" is a load of crap, they take the piss by stringing you along for weeks then ignoring your calls.

****ing bastards.

Sorry for the rant but my mum and her hubby wont listen and dont understand how I feel. All I get is told to shut up cos im moaning, when all I am is grateful to have people here to talk to after being alone with 2 dogs all day. As lovely as they are (my dogs) you cant get the same response from them as humans. Sometimes thats a good thing.

Ah well. It will be weights and punchbag later. I WILL do it, I will drag myself out there to do some exercise.

Damnit its cold today. Ok im out of water, need to get some more to drink.

Found a new workout…

Well I was looking up information on boxing and how to train, cos I have a heavy bag in my garage but don’t use it a great deal, but want to use it more.

I found the following workout that you can use to either get you fit for proper fighting/boxing, or just to get really fit.

Here it is -

New Workout Plan -

Monday - HIIt Cardio 20 Mins
         Shadow Boxing 20 Mins
         Jump Rope 20 Mins

Tuesday - Weight Training - all the big compound movements like deadlifts,squats,benchpress,shoulder press, shrugs, crunches and pullups and leg raises. 2-3sets 5-8reps.

Wednesday - Run 3 Miles
            Heavy Punch Bag 30-40 Mins

Thursday - Same as Tuesday

Friday - HIIT Cardio 20 Mins
         Shadow Boxing 15 Mins
         Heavy Bag 20 Mins

Saturday - Same as Tuesday

Sunday - Run 3-5 Miles
         Heavy Bag 20-30 Mins

 

So as you can see it is pretty intense! But I get bored so easily with workouts, so Im going to try and do this one for a couple of weeks and see how I get on and see if there are any changes in my body.

Will keep you all updated!

Also started jogging this week, getting on ok with it, so fingers crossed I keep upping the pace and succeed in the new workout :-)

still the damn same weight …

Well I weighted in this morning and I still weigh 160.6lbs. I am so gutted. I thought my goal of 154lbs by christmas was dueable but now with me staying the same weight for the past 3-4 weeks Im not so sure. Its 7-8 weeks til christmas.

I have just posted a thread on the lose fat forum, so hopefully someone can help me or suggest how I can break through the plateau, its really starting to get me down.

3 day diet

Well I was thinking and I feel as though I’ve hit a plateau at the minute, so have decided to do the 3 day diet to give me a boost at eating better again. Now I know this isnt the healthiest thing to do, but I have had success with it in the past, and will only do it for 3 days, just for that kick at getting back on track.

I found a thread on here of a bloke that did the 3 day diet (he did the days 1 normal, 1 day on the diet,1 day normal etc) for like 6 weeks and lost a lot of weights. Now Im not going to do that, Im just using it for a kick start.

Will let you know how I get on. Starts tomorrow, wish me luck!!

I see some changes!….

Well I weighed myself this morning and I put on 0.5lb, which I expected because I have eaten a bit badly this week. Being at home all the time is not that great, you have all this other temptation in you face 24/7 (i know im not using it as an excuse just saying!)So did a lot of walking yesterday to try and make up for eating a bit badly. Might just be a bit of water retention, due to eating late last night, Anyway moving on its only 0.5lb.

Anyway I also did my measurements this morning, last time I did them was back in MARCH!! (2007). In total I am down 6lbs (have been up and down since then and now, due to holiday and stresses etc), and have lost 6inches from all over. The biggest loss was 3 1/2 inches OFF my waist!! Was like WOHOOO!!! So that was good to know.

My calfs actually went up a little bit, but due to muscle development I think.

Still got my goal of 11stone by christmas *(now 9.5 weeks away) So am going to knuckle down, do more cardio, and measure myself around xmas time.

Started my christmas shopping today, which I am chuffed about, Im not one to leave it to the last minute, Im normally all finished by mid november!

another week gone…

Well i weighed in this morning at 160lbs. So lost 0.08lb this week (nearly  a whole pound lol). Still pleased, its still going down, and I am definatly seeing changes in my body, so its not all about the number on the scale, although that is part of it.

Some of my clothes are getting rather roomy now, and I can actually fit nicely into a jean skirt ive had for what like two years that Ive never worn! So its all good.

Just did a session on the punch bag, helped me wake up and was good stress relief as am bit pissed off/stressed due to a few things. Feel bit more at peace now I killed the bag. My mum said she thought I was trying to knock the house down cos of the vibrations of the bag in the garage lol

Will probably do legs a bit later.

Going to start a 4 day split, as the job I am going for and hoping to get is 4 days on 4 days off, so if i start a 4 day split I think that would work quite well. So i will sort that out later.
