10/12/2007 = 1 mile = Just over 11mins

12/12/2007 - 1 mile = 10mins 40 secs :)

then didnt run for ages… then … started up again this week…

7/4/08 - 1 mile = 11mins 12secs

9/4/08 - 1 mile = 10 mins 50 secs

11/4/08 - 1 mile = 10 mins 50 secs

then 12/4/08 - 1 mile = 10 mins 21 secs!! :)

13/4/08 - 1 mile = 10 mins 15 secs! :) :) wicked, am well pleased I keep getting better, and am def feeling more comfortable when I do jog, and get into a steady pace.

Cant believe how much harder it is to jog outside than it is on a treadmill or mini trampoline!

wohoo i improved…

10/12/2007 = 1 mile = Just over 11mins

12/12/2007 - 1 mile = 10mins 40 secs :)

11/4/08 - 1 mile = 10 mins 50 secs

then today 12/4/08 - 1 mile = 10 mins 21 secs!! :)

am well chuffed, am really going to try and stick with it this time, would love to get like 8 or 9 minute mile, then try and see how long 2 miles will take me.

Slowly but surely I am getting there again!

Did biceps, triceps and abs before I went for jog, so was nicely warmed up!

gettin back on track…

Well I weighed myself this morning, and was pleased to see I’d lost another pound.

Have gone from 11stone 12lbs at about 4th march to 11stone 7.8lbs as of today. Slow but good progress in my eyes. Am much more aware of what I’m eating and drinking for that matter.

So that has made me :-)

cannot believe it…

Well I knew I had fallen off the wagon a bit recently as I was feeling bloated and felt like I had put on weight, weighed myself this morning and I am back up to 166lbs/11stone 12lbs. Which completely sucks.

As of today I am back on track and have started well this morning.

So look out 154lbs here I damn well come!!!

bit up and down…

Well I have just updated my weight and am now 160lbs. Put on 1.8lbs in the last couple of weeks, not a lot, but I think its due to being moved from job to job, am unsettled at the moment, generally in life.

My goal is still to get to 154lbs (11stone), while toning up all over and getting rid of some body fat.

Seeing as I am spending a lot of time at home at the moment, Im making sure Im working out each day, whether its weights and cardio, or just cardio.

Off to do leg exercises today, so won’t be able to walk for the rest of the week lol

Take it easy ya’ll.

2008 …

Well now we are into a new year, don’t quite know where 2007 went!

Is my birthday on sunday 6th jan, will be the grand old age of 22 lol

Managed to lose some weight over the christmas/new year period which I was very pleasantly surpised to find out this morning when I weighed myself.

Am now 160lbs. Short term goal is to get to 154lbs. Hopefully I have broken my platuea now that I encountered late last year.

Am currently waiting for a phone call to hear whether I got the job I had an interview for last thursday. Hate waiting for phone calls.

Did weights and stepper this morning. Will go for a slow jog tonight I think. Try and get back into jogging.

new personal best has been set…

Well after an ok day at work (spent a lot of it chatting to a new lady that was helping me) so made the time go quick, I got home and did a good weight workout, then went for a jog (I live on a triangle shape road that is a mile all the way round). I managed to jog round the whole way without stopping and it took me 11minutes. Now I know this isnt that fast, but for me not to have to stop is a big personal achievement.

So now I have a target of beating 11minutes going round it once, and working up to going round it twice, then three times etc.

So as of the 10/12/2007 1 mile = 11minutes

Ok just had to update as I was happy with that. Always hated running at school, but now I seem to be getting in to it!

Here we are again…

Saturday, December 8th, 2007

Yet another week has passed us by, only 2weeks on tuesday til christmas. Crazy stuff! Did a bit more shopping today from the comfort of this chair, don’t you just love the internet!

Managed to get my jogging in today, it had been chucking it down all day, so the moment it eased off, I hurried outside and went jogging with one of my dogs. Up and down a rather large hill, as was too muddy and slippery to go round the field and wood where i normally go, but definatly a good run. 24 minutes it took. Will probably do it again tomorrow as it will take a while for the fields to dry out enough to run on and not fall on my arse, but that session will be done after a weights session.

Have had a couple of good weights sessions this week, also went jogging on tuesday night.

Havent weighed in this week as I am getting too obsessed by the number on the scale, rather than how i look and feel.

A lot of people tell me i should be over the moon with loosing 18lbs this year which i am believe me! Am so happy not to have been going the wrong way up the scale!

I am going to stick with my jogging and weights and see how my body reacts. When i went joggin 3/4 times on one of the weeks I was off in Oct, i noticed a change in my leg shape in just that short amount of time, so hopefully they will get in better shape, as i feel the top half of me is doing alright, but the bottom half is lagging a bit.

Ok thats all for now, going to have a go on my guitar, learning Nivana at the moment.

quick update…

Thursday, November 29th, 2007

Wow, well thats nearly the 3rd week at my new temping job over with, had a busy day today, was given some high priority work to do, that ended up taking me all day today. As a result my lower back and my neck are aching like crazy, and are rather painful.

I think I may have a long soak in a hot bath tomorrow night. My workouts have been going good since saturday when I started the weights again. Have done the following -

Sat - chest, shoulders + abs, 30 minute cardio

Sun - Back, biceps, 50 minute cardio

Mon - 40 Minute cardio

Tues - Chest, Triceps + Abs

Wed - Back, traps, 20 minute cardio

I don’t know whether to do any tonight because my back is so sore. Think I will give it a break tonight, might go and have a go on my guitar instead. Then do legs and biceps tomorrow.

Eating this week hasnt been too bad, tryin to keep my protein consumption up. Eating little and often too (well trying to).

Ok thats all for now. Weigh in is either tomorrow morning or saturday, depends when I remember. Fingers crossed its gone down this week, or atleast stayed the same, but not gone up (dont think it will have, i hope lol)
