Early Morning, pre-food run, Holy Cow!!!

Today I decided to go for a run before I ate.  I have read many articles in regards to the fat burning aspects of running on an early morning empty stomach!

So this morning I rose early and put on SEVERAL layers.  Dawned my Controlled Labs Beanie, and my gloves, hooked up my doggy and headed out the door.  Holy Cow!!!! That was hard to stay motivated through.

I was so thankful to have my dog, because she had something to eat and couldn’t understand my sluggishness. I ran for about 20 minutes, and walked an additional ten minutes.  The whole time I just kept telling myself, you better get used to this girly, because this is what it takes to be a winner.  It won’t be my last early morning run.  I pray they are not always so hard.  Maybe next time I will at least have a cup of coffee first.

    I hit the gym at 5am OMG IT’S EARLY!!, M-F. You’ll survive. :D

In 2002 I forced myself into the habit getting my w/o’s done b4 work, otherwise it would never happen. With 7 & 8 yr old daughters, I’d never spend time w/ family if I was hitting the gym after work. Now…..it’s an awesome start to my day. Very energizing.

But a cup-a-Joe might not be a bad idea as you slug out of bed, hoping & praying you can get used to it. ;)

RIGHT ON GIRL!! Good for you to go running first thing in the morning. I actually like that quite a bit; just because I love the change in scenery as I run. It also makes me feel a bit like my idol—Jennifer Aniston. It’s a great thing to do, especially with your pup. Keep rockin it babe. :)
    ((hugs))

I enjoy predawn runs in the cold before I’ve eaten. Nice job today, good luck in the future.
