Today @ the Gym
Started my bulking routine today. I’m using the Bill Starr 5 x 5 as outlined by Madcow over in the forums. I’m using the Advanced Spreadsheet and I’ve kind of tweaked to to hit PR’s in week 3 as opposed to week 4 and I changed Incline Presses to Military Presses.
Squat: 5 x 196
Bench: 5 x 149, 161, 172, 184, 196
Rows: 5x 103, 112, 120, 128, 136
Felt Great so I added a couple of isolation exercises:
DB Side Laterals? 30 lbs x 8 (3 sets)
DB Shrugs: 90 lbs x 8 (3 sets)
Leg Press Calves: 270 lbs x 20 (3 sets), 180 x 20
I’m looking at throwing in some HIIT and Abs on my off days (Tuesday & Thursday)
Breakfast: Protein Shake and 1/2 cup rolled oatmeal.
