So I have had some pants sitting in a drawer waiting for me to be able to fit into them again….so I figured that today is as good a day as any. I remember them being like a size 10 so I wanted to see how they fit. I put them on and they slid straight on….no catching on anything (like my a^^ –which is what they normally did). In fact they were somewhat loose. I was quite impressed with myself. Even more impressed when I saw they were a size 8!!!!!! I forgot I had pants in that size. Not too long ago a size 12 was getting kinda tight. Even better was that the pants were not stretch jean material, they were just straight jeans.

Still Losing….

I must say, it is pretty nice to step on the scale and see that it is still going down! Did hours of walking yesterday at the beach and can feel it today. So happy that I got my latest issue of M&F. Looking into trying out the "100s At Home". Looking forward to the results I get from trying it out! Will keep you posted!

Gotta order more protein products….my stocks are getting kinda low. I am so happy that I found some protein that I can stick with. Some that I have tried got kinda old…where I would have to make myself drink more. The products I am currently using though are quite tasty and I don’t have a problem keeping up with them.

Knee Update

So it turns out that my knee wasn’t a tragic as it could have been. I don’t need x-rays, shots, or any type of surgery. Just need to ease off of the activities that cause the crunch  (like squats, lunges, etc.). So I am happy with that and have resumed my exercises. Back on the road to skinny bitch!  I have had quite a few people notice that I have lost weight so that is another motivating factor. Yea!

Tragedy!

So I have been exercising and working on my health…..I have been trying to figure out what has been going on with my carpeting because it has been noisy lately while I do my aerobics. TRAGEDY!!! I found out that noise has been coming from ME! My knee is getting crunchy sounding! I noticed that when I squat, sit, use the stairs, and who knows what else it makes noise. So I have an appt. coming up to see what the scoop is. There is no pain associated with this…but I am bummed out because I was sure the carpet was getting loose or something. *sigh*

Still workin it…..

So my progress has slowed slightly but I have changed things up to ensure that my progress continues. Pretty happy with my food choices as of late. Still on the "straight and narrow" like I stated earlier. Got to actually wear tank tops recently and I was not horrified by it. *grin*

My biggest area of concern is the area between my waist and my thighs. I don’t even remember the last time any of that was terribly smaller. My biggest joy would be to have a flat stomach and not have my legs touch each other when I put my feet together. This is something that has not occured for as long as I can remember. It bothers me but I want to push myself this time and see if I can accomplish it.

Anyone have any good ideas?

Anyone try the Dymatize Elite High Protein Cereal?

Hello. I was just wondering if anyone had tried the cereal. I actually think it is pretty good. I tried the Frosters and really liked that one. Not as big of a fan of the Tropical Loops but that is just me. It was still good. I just didn’t like it best.

So, anyone else try it?

Yea! Skinny B*tch here I come!

Hey got on the scale today and I am down 10+ lbs!!!! WAHOO!!! Bought myself a Bosu but I am afraid if I actually jump on it I am going to fly across the room. So I am practicing just keeping my balance for now. I watched some of the DVDs that came with it and I don’t feel confident enough to try that just yet. They are jumping around on it and yeah, I don’t think so.

Have overhauled my eating and it has done WONDERS for my health and weight. I have increased my fiber, walk everyday, and drink more water–along with getting more sleep. I do not eat a great deal of carbs anymore and surprisingly I am not missing it. I dont feel deprived in the least. I am just amazed at the progress I have made. I am working on actually taking photos….what can I say… I just want to think about the after and nothing else.

Have you ever had a day where you seem a little off or a few days and you think it is nothing but you do a little testing just to see and something is wrong! Yeah, I had some of that recently. I was feeling kind of off for about a week…thought I would check a couple things…..run through family health history and see if anything stood out compared to how I felt. One thing I checked was my blood sugar. Yeah, not too good to see the numbers I was coming up with. On an additional note I was eating mostly carbs (not cake but bagels and pasta and such) and running on very (apparently) little sleep.

These types of activities caused my body to get out of whack and for me to appear that I was going down a very bad path. So I did what some would do and FREAKED OUT! After I was done with that I decided to adjust my eating habits, get more sleep, increase my fiber, and go for a walk during lunchtime at work. In addition to this I kept track of my blood sugar and noted how I felt every day and what I ate. I am still doing this but not in such a concentrated manner as before.

My blood sugar has evened out and no I have not gone to the doctor as of yet, but if anything changes symptom wise I will be there in a heartbeat. For now I can liken it to bad habits leading to bad reactions. Now I just know I am more sensitive to my habits than before so I must keep better track of myself.
