Shocking the System
February 23, 2009I work for a Sports Enhancement Facility, training athletes on a regular basis. I’ve started some cardio work for myself that really seems to be shocking the system. Sprints, Jump Rope, Box Jumps, Box Blasts, Sled Pulls, Slide Boards, Bungees are just a few toys that I get to use for my own workouts. Shocking my system should be no problem. Interval timing, along with high rep type sets. A detailed dynamic warm up everyday session to get my shoulders and hips warmed up. Then its high intensity in a short time window to maximize the effectiveness.
