^^^READ IT!!!!!
I wish so bad I had read this back in the Fall of 2006 when I started out on my bulking phases that ended up with me at 180 lbs ~20% bf in January 2008. I would have never made such an awful mistake as that. I probably would have reached my goal of being lean like 2 years ago instead of finally right now just getting there.
It took some nutrition classes, anatomy, and huge errors over the span of 3 yrs, LOL, for me to realize everything he discusses in this article. It would have been so much easier just to read it though ~2 yrs ago!

Reading now…I too am the victim of a ‘dirty bulk’

The worst part is my bulk wasn’t "dirty" it was just way too high over maintenance. I thought if I ate 500-1000 over maintenance w/ "clean" foods I’d gain more muscle. LOL, I was wrong…

Very awesome article. And I’m glad to see that I was right on my ideal caloric intake for optimal growth conditions. Realistically,I may not hit my target as quickly as I’d like, but at least it will be clean.

I read the article, thank you. I looked back at my progress this year and saw a lot of fat come with it. Right now I am stepping up my routine to see how much my body can take and how quickly it can recover. I am giving it more than adequate nutrition and will be tailoring my diet to my routine, once it’s settled.

Thank you Joe! This article really cleared alot of "junk" that I have been trying to wade through. I googled Christian Thibaudeau and he’s got some pretty interesting stuff out there. I was one of those that was looking for fast results once I got in a groove. I now am settling in and just enjoying the journey and the "little" results I have seen so far. I will recommend this to everyone.
Keep chasin the dream-
