my doctor just prescribed antidepressants…I’m not thrilled, but oh well. I recently bought two bottles of gaspari mitotropin and 2 bottles of cytolean. I’ve been really excited to start, but I’m not sure that I should be taking both at once? I’m on celexa, it’s an SSRI (selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor) Anyways, if anyone has any advice I would greatly appreciate it!

So I really need to drop some fat and it seems like nothing is working. I weight train 6 times a week and try to do 45-60 minutes of cardio per day. I like doing cardio, so please do not suggest that I do less. I need to know how low my calorie intake can possibly go with that much activity, without under eating! I want to get ripped so badly…ugh, so impatient.

Unfortunately for the last two or three weeks I feel like an absolute mess. My gym is closed and I had hired a personal trainer to take over for the month until the gym re-opens. He came once to assess me, but since then hasn’t come to any of our appointments leaving me feeling a little stranded. One day at a time I let myself slip…no working out and then I started eating whatever I wanted, maybe I’m just bored who knows? I’m pretty sure I’ve gained at least 10 pounds and I feel terrible. For some reason it’s been hard for me to jump back in it….all I can do is move forward. I hope I haven’t done myself in too badly.

I have been with a number of different trainers and they all tell me different things. Recently I have been doing sprint intervals on the treadmill, running at 10-11 for 30 seconds and then walking or jogging for 1 minute. Someone recently told me while, the sprints are great for my cardiovascular health, they aren’t that great for fat loss. They recommended running at 65% instead, which would help me drop my bodyfat percent a bit quicker..what do you think?

This morning I got up at 6 AM, went downstairs and used my treadmill for around 20 minutes. It was awesome because I went upstairs afterwards, had some oatmeal and a protein shake then went back to bed for a couple hours haha. I’ve heard its really good to get up and do a little interval session before breakfast ( have a bit of fat to lose). I have also heard that this a good way of burning lean muscle mass so I’m not really sure what to believe. What are your thoughts on the matter?

I went to see it last night. It’s the first time I’ve ever seen a figure/fitness competition and I absolutely loved it. I had an idea I wanted to compete before, but now I’m sure I want to do it. They all looked so amazing in person! The only thing I’m not crazy about is how dark they have to get, I think it looks a bit funny, but oh well. I got to speak with a lady who designs suits and someone who coaches, it was really exciting to think about the future and how that could be me on stage on day. Yes, I have a long way to go…but hopefully sometime!

I feel like I’ve been going in circles for a while in the gym, not sure if what I’m doing is really making any difference, because the results have been very slow. Anyways, I had a personal trainer come and take a look yesterday and he stayed for about four hours. It turns out my whole body is a bit out of whack because I haven’t had perfect form and he said I would end up hurting myself with the heavy weight I’ve been lifting if I don’t work on my core and my body for a while. Anyways, it’s quite different from what I’ve been doing so I’m scared of the change, but I want to try it out. He’s going to be coming to my house 3 days a week and we’re going to be doing full body weights, integrated with cardio in between or whatever and I’m going to continue my muay thai kickboxing 3 times a week as well. He’s also going to be giving me a meal plan soon, I’ll post it on here when I get it to see what you guys think. Hopefully I’ll come a step closer to reaching my goals

I LOVE my protein shakes, pretty much my favorite part of the day haha. Anyways, I’ve tried a number of different proteins now and I would like to try some more. Right now I’m using ON 100% natural whey (vanilla) and ON 100% casein (chocolate). Do you prefer whey or an isolate…I want something delicious and high quality! What proteins do you use and why do you love them?

Canada games pool is a recreation centre and because of the pool maintenance, they close down for two weeks every september. There is NO way I am taking that time off! I feel like I’m just starting to see a bit of progress so I definitley don’t want to take a break (not yet anyways). Does anyone have any suggestions of what I could do? I’m pretty sure paying drop in fees 5 days a week would be pretty pricey, ahhh, haha.
