When the body craves carbs
Friday, October 17th, 2008I’ve known this for a while but since I’m starting a new journal and really getting serious about my overall health and fitness, and I plunged into this site, I actually do want to share with everyone my thoughts and experiences and knowledge. Also, I will definitely welcome your feedback at any time
I love to exercise, exercise gives us endorphins which hype us up and makes us feel happy. Exercise is one of my most favorite hobbies. But the body needs rest too! At least one day out of the week I would give myself. Right now with the schedule provided I split my workouts to twice a day. Weight training is in the morning and cardio in the evening. This week I took Friday night off from cardio and Sat. morning off from weight training. Tonight I’ll probably do cardio and start 3rd week fresh with training in the morning.
During that time off, depending on how strict we are with our bodies as far as clean eating and nutrition rules that we impose on eachother. My endorphin levels are lower than normal and then feel like eating. We need to drink more water! Tha’s why we crave carbs! So I had oatmeal with organic soymilk and honey nut cheerios and a banana early in the morning, is that carbloaded enough?! lol.
Next, to come out of that rut feeling and get back on that ball rolling along…clean eating and start a whole new week fresh again, pushing through it at high speed! Stay up and stay motivated!
