Well, I’ve let school get the best of me yet again! I’ve packed on some poundage because I’ve abandoned my healthy eating and exercise. I feel disgusting to say the least. I’m determined to begin to get back on track this weekend and get back on track with my weight loss. I was kicking butt before in September but allowed myself to get off track. I think I’ll adjust my workout schedule and running schedule a little just to get back on track, and then bring it up to where it was before. Uggggghhhhh, this is frustrating, but I know I can do it. I just keep thinking of bikini season, thats definately enough motivation for me to kick my butt into shape. Any thoughts or motivation would be helpful! Wish me luck!

I’m back, FINALLY, I feel great and I just finished my first workout in 2 weeks (or a little longer) . . . too much family stuff / house renovations going on. I never want to get off track that badly again. I feel great, and I forgot how great a good work out can feel. I’m motivated again and still chugging along in my weight loss journey. I’m finding I do well w/ deadlines, so . . . I have decided that I have to post some progress pictures on 12/1/07 - regardless of how bad I think they look. That will definately keep my on track
I also wanted to say HAPPY VETERAN’S DAY and wanted to thank all of the men and women who serve and have served our country and have given us our freedom!!!!
THANK YOU!!

Numerous things got me off track the past 2 weeks . . . oh let me count the ways . . . school, work, field placement, PMS
, renovations on house . . . oh yes, I could go on. But I am learning that in order to do this, and consistently stay healthy, I have to SUCK IT UP!!!:) Things are going to come up unexpectedly, that’s life! So, regardless of what the heck is going on in my life, I’ve sat down, and put together a plan for the rest of the week to begin running/working out routinely (and realistically), and to also get back to my 6 meals/day. So . . . wish me luck!!

I’m excited, I have a new weight set!! Its a very good thing because I was beginnig to feel like the old 8 pounders were getting a wee bit too light!!! Now I can feel the burn again. Still trying to find new and exciting exercises to try to challenge myself and continue to progress, as it can get a little boring working out at home w/ free weights & an exercise ball. Well off to do cardio (6 miles on the treadmill - aka. complete and total freaking boredom) bye-bye:)

My first week of sticking to my workout routine and diet went surprisingly well. I wasn’t hungry at all!!! (Thank God, I was worried about that). I didn’t even feel like cheating on my ‘cheat day’. I started out my weight training routine using what I already had at home, which is very wimpy weights
(the biggest size I have is 8 lbs - lol)! Even though I thought these were way too light, once I started working out, I still felt a burn, and was VERY SORE in the days after my first workouts. It felt great to be sore! I felt like I really did something!! So this week, I’m going to purchase a set of dumbells that range from 10 lbs up to 35 lbs, and maybe more. Any suggestions on a good weight set would be helpful!! I’m off to the grocery store (I’m also learning how to effectively grocery shop again, so I only have to go 1 x/wk). I’ll keep you updated!!!
