Finally able to bench again
Tuesday, November 25th, 2008Well, it appears my shoulder is much better. For the 1st time in over a year I braved the Barbell Bench Press. Before, whenever I benched, I’d get sharp pains between my front delts and chest so I cut benching out completely, opting for dumbbells, machines and cables for chest. I felt courageous today and got through it. I got up 225 lbs for 8 unassisted reps which is major for me with no pain. I didnt wanna push it and re-injure myself, so I left it at that for now. I’m glad that I’m finally able to bench again and look forward to pushing more weight as I get braver in the weeks to come
