Hardcore!!
I worked out at the original Powerhouse Gym today and it was off the hook! Just coming in gets you amped, all of the autographed pics of Bodybuilding champs who’ve worked out and have come through there…Lenda Murray, Haley, Ferrigno. All of the trophies on display. Then the gym itself, complete with the smell. No aromatics and steady air conditioning here. Funk and sweat permeates the room, no little disinfectant bottles w/ dainty towels. This was GREAT!!
I met up with Kingofdasecond for our workout and we were both amped. Grueling leg workout straight from the Animal guys…I don’t think we’re friends right now, at least not until he gets some feeling in his legs again.
If it wasn’t so far from where I live, I’d have a 10 year membership. The Powerhouse I go to ain’t like this one, I’m gonna hate going in tomorrow seeing the little juice counter and the kids room. Smelling the fresh air and clean towels. Hearing that crap that is played over the air. But I’ll take out my frustration on the weights…

Lol, you gotta love the old school gyms. I miss mine too. Now I go to this sissified girlie gym but it’s got weights and that’s all I need.
