GREAT workout!
Today marked my first workout for my bulking period and it was good. Legs were on the menu and I’d been looking forward to it. I usually workout in the a.m., but it was pretty busy at work last night, so I had to settle for the afternoon. Which was cool because there were only about 10 people in the gym. I was able to blast through my quad portion (see workout program on my profile page) but things got a little shaky on the hams. I went heavy on the squats putting up some of my best numbers but it took a little out of my lower back. The Romanian deadlifts almost suffered from it as I couldn’t go too heavy but just concentrated on form. After that I got a great burn on both types of leg curls before finishing with 10 minutes on the stairmaster. Some extreme stretching finished out the day and I’m gonna feel this tomorrow.
