I started the DoggCrapp method of training this week and can say I’m pretty impressed. It’s a unique style that fits into my schedule perfectly. It takes a while to get accustomed to it though. The constant logging and regiment changing is kinda confusing at first but it’s been manageable. And athe EXTREME stretching!!!! That’s a perfect name for it. Lol!
The first workout on Monday (chest/shoulders/tri’s/back) was so-so because I was trying to fit and adjust weights/numbers, but workout number 2 on Wednesday (biceps/forearms/hams/quads/calves)…whoo! It’s been YEARS since I’ve been sore in my biceps, but I was hurtin’ yesterday. I got a nice burn on my hams too.
Today was chest/shoulders/tri’s/back again, but with different exercises and I thoroughly worked my chest, shoulders, and tri’s. By the time I got to back, though, my energy level was waning (was on duty yesterday, need some zzzz’s) and my bi’s were still hurting a little. I powered through it but it could’ve been better. Finished up with 20 min. on the bike.
I’ll be tracking my progress closely to see if this is a program I’ll stick with regularly even though it’s a little different.
