None of my fat friends are telling me I’m cute

anymore.  Does that mean the hateration has begun?  My BFF mentioned this to me the other day and I was like, "Duh! Of course no females are hating on me.  They’re all nice!"  But I noticed lately that I haven’t heard anything positive from them.  Is that the start of that?  Yuck!

Sad but true. It’s unfortunate that people can’t celebrate your success, but as my husband pointed out to me, you’re PROOF it can be done and the excuses they’ve made for themselves don’t hold water anymore. You burst their bubble.

Just wait until people start asking what you’re doing. My response was always "watching what I eat and exercise" (like, duh!) and they look at me like I’m speaking a different language!

CONGRATULATIONS on your success! They should use you as inspiration!

Thanks for those words of wisdom! I am doing my best to keep it positive and since I just got out of the 2.5 hour meeting I though I had at work I am out of here and off to the gym! Yay!

    Awesome progress!!!
I would also have to agree with (sinful-kitten)!!!
The key is to turn their negative thoughts into positive actions on your part!
I would love to tell it get better but sadly for me it has only gotten worse the better I began to look and feel; although I refuse to let all the “haters” and negative people effect me the way they want! Try and surround yourself with as many positive people as you can and if friends begin to become hates too then try and bring them along for the ride! Get them off their butts and eating right and let them enjoy the same high you have for your new lifestyle!

It’s funny how you find out who your true friends are. True friends will back you up and let you know how well you’re doing. They may even ask you to help them get on track, or ask what you’re doing to make improvements.

I know, huh!! I have 3 different friends who I hadn’t seen in about a year, and I have lost about 20 lbs since they last saw me…I spent time catching up with each of them separately and not one of them said a word about my progress…it just made me work harder at the gym ;) …can’t wait to see them after I reach my goal……………..!

Yeah! Thanks for the kind words all.

After I wrote this post I got a flurry of "you look great", "she’s melting away" and "you’re steady shrinking". which I appreciate, but it is still the thin ones who are speaking on it now (one of the three is heavy still, but she said that when her knee recovers she will be back out there doing it). It’s funny people do ask me "how are you doing it?" which struck me as weird at first "why are they asking ME?" but then I realized that they were asking me because what I was doing was working.
