Masters Nationals and other stuff
Well, I really set my sights high for this year. For several years I have said i wanted to do a national show. I’ve been doing the local/regional scene since I started so it’s high time to go to the next level. Getting back into bodybuilding from figure has been a great joy. Lifting heavy again, not worrying about my arms getting to big - cause in bodybuilding there is no such thing. Happy days!
My trainer has leveled off some of my leg workouts as I have reached my goal of putting size on them. Now i’m more symetrical with my upper body. My front squats have topped out at #165 for all my sets (8-12 rep range). So from now until the show it’s a matter of maintaining and leaning waaaay out. The diet is where I’ll have my work cut out for me. No drugs, just food.
I had a good talk with an old school bb’r/competitor. He really got me motivated and put my head on straight for what I’ll be doing for the next 4 mths. To get to where I need to be as a natural, will definitely test my mental strength. But I look forward to the challenges I know are ahead.
This will be my 6th year of competing. I started working out cause I got fat. I got into good shape because of SWAT. Being a team member has changed me and made me a stronger person. So I will rely on those strengths to get me to the show. To the finest SWAT team ever - cheers!!!

Hey Teresa!
I find your decision to compete for National very inspiring and exciting!! (4 Months out? Yesss! )
I was wondering how your diet was like before your decision to compete, was it like the ‘maintenance diet’ you provided for me?
How will it change?
I have to tell ya, that the Vegge Stew is Da Bomb!! Yum-O!
