Squatting again
Wednesday, February 11th, 2009I had laid off squatting for most of ‘08 due to a knee injury (again). But thanks to my trainer, I am back to squatting and loving it! We started with just a bar, some knee wraps and a low bench. We tried several variations of the front squat using a low bench and wow - finally I can not only squat again - but I can finally do it correctly! It’s only taken me 5 years to learn how to squat properly. Not doing much weight (#145 on my front squat), but it’s coming along.
A side benefit is that my legs are bigger! huh!
