I’m back doing legs!!

I did my first "real" leg workout yesterday!   On the way to the gym I got butterflies in my stomach thinking about it!  Ok, is that weird or what?  :)

So I started out with some very light leg extensions.  Here’s my first WO:

Leg Extensions - #70 x 15 (2 sets)
Leg Press - #135 x 20  (4 sets w/45 sec rest)
Hack Squat - Sled x 15 ( 4 sets w/45 sec rest)
Seated Leg curls - #45 x 15 (4sets w/45 sec rest)

When you are used to Leg pressing anywhere from #600 and up, this was a very humbling workout.  But who freakin’ cares cause I was back to doing Legs!!  I can’t remember doing just the sled on the hack squat, not even for warmups.   But I felt so good after I was done.  topped it off with 20 mins on the recumbant bike. 

On a related topic, I’m very pleased with my weightloss/bf loss progress.  I was going to just diet through April 7.  the reason for this is because I’ll be juding a local show here in cincy and I was informed about a month ago that I would have to get on stage for a trophy presentation.  Weeellllllll, not in the shape I was in!    If I’m going to have to get onstage representing me, my business, my trainer and women’s bodybuilding, well darnit i’m going to be in almost contest shape!
Well, anyway, I’m having a surprisingly easy time dieting so I’m just going to extend it through April 21st.  April 22nd I leave for a little dive trip to Honduras so what the heck - I’ll try and look better in a 2-piece.

Funny little story, last year, after a contest, I took a trip to Punta Cana.  I was in pretty good shape having just done a show.  Anyway, the guys down there working at the bar thought I was a pro bodybuilder!  HAHAHAHA!!  In my broken spanglish I explained I was anything but that and showed them some pics of female pro bb’rs.  Yes - I travel with my fitness mags!   That was pretty funny though.  It got bothersome after awhile as they constantly were asking me about working out, how to do this or that.  Amazing the attention some capped delts will get ya!
