The Northern Ky Show
Wheew, just got back from pre-judging at the Northern. I left there at 4 and there were still two more figure classes to go! Long, long pre-judging. In fact, almost torturous. Just the length of the show, not the competitors. There were some pretty tough classes for the judges. Ran into a couple of people I met on here, JT and Simpy. Saw a couple of other guys on here that were competing although I didn’t get to talk to them. Now I have just enough time to enter this, get something to eat, shower and head back down for the evening show which starts at 6:30. Can’t wait to see how everyone placed!

Wow, i wish I could have competed. Nope, just a competitor! Well, show started at 6:30 promptly. Even with some shortcuts, like only the top 5 doing their routines - show was still going on when I left at 11pm! They were just starting the Men\’s open; I wanted to stay but I was pretty tired from being their all day.
The girl I was helping with her first show did not place in the top 5. That was a bummer but she is all ready to do her next show and fix the areas that needed fixing. We had a blast after she came off stage as we ran around outside taking pics of her.
Another great show though. Its gotten so darned big over the past few years. I\’ve never been to a national show so I\’m not sure how long they run or the number of competitors. But this one is about to outgrow its current venue that\’s for sure.
