Arnie Presses cont’d…
got in a quick 20-25 min shoulder workout today.
1 min rest between each set; 2 mins between ea exercise.
Military Presses (after a warmup:
#30 x 12 ( 4 sets)
DB Rear Laterals:
#15 x 15 ( 4 sets)
DB Side Laterals:
#12 x 15 ( 4 sets)
This is a little lighter than my last shoulder workout, mostly because I didn’t have a ton of time to devote to
the workout, plus I just did a heavy shoulder workout a few days a ago. This time though, my shoulders actually got
good and sore; probably due to being more strict about rests. Sure made the w/o go fast!

Talking about the Arnold presses - my shoulders are a little lagging because of some recovery time for a rotator cuff. One of the things that I have started to do trying to bring them along is to superset side laterals with Arnold presses. 8 seated side laterals followed directly with 8 Arnold presses (with a heavier weight of course) - three or four sets of each. This really works them hard without putting so much stress on the joints.

I’ve never supersetted arnies with laterals but have done them with side/front/rear, they are killer. I might try the presses/laterals though. im always looking for something different. tx. take care of that shoulder. btw, i don’t use a ten code - whats sixty-six?
