I decided to stop taking my NO, thermogenics, Energy drinks, and pretty much everything else except my protein and vitamins. The cost of keeping that up was starting to catch up to me and my body just seemed to be so out of whack. Since I’ve stopped taking all that stuff I’ve noticed nothing but positive things. I’m sleeping better, I’ve gotten into a better sleep habit of getting to bed at a decent time falling asleep right away and waking up at about 730am everyday. I have more energy then I did before, which is just crazy, my workouts are more intense. I’ve actually upped the weights in every single area since I’ve stopped taking my supps. My goal for the winter is to add a few solid pounds of muscle and hopefully get above 150 while still being at 9% BF. So far its going good i’m up to about 148-49 lbs, and have maintained a BF just a bit above 9%. I was working on a 3day split where I was doing three days on, one day off, i’ve switched it up now to 3 days on one day off two days on one day off, the extra day off in there I’ve been using to get back to my running. I hadn’t run in close to two months and missed it. So i’ve been doing some mid-distances runs again usually in the 5-8 mile range and it feels great.

Today was one of those days for me, every single exercise I did I was able to add weight. The most important for me being my dead lift and my squat. My dead lifts were just on today and I was able to add 20 lbs. more to my max. It felt good and I could have probably pushed it further, but I’ll save that for next weeks dead lift. My squats have been a huge focus for me lately working on my form and its paid off lately as I was able to put 315 on the bar and do two full reps of ATG, felt great. Days like today are what keep me motivated, hoping I can push my bench this week like I have with my legs. I’ve plateaued at about 235 and I’ve set my goal for 250 by the end of December so I still have a lot of hard work ahead me!

So its been almost two weeks now since I’ve cycled off my thermogenic s and my NO, the biggest thing I’ve noticed is that I’m able to lift quite a bit more, I think maybe the thermogenic s were holding me back on my bench…my bench has shot up from 210 to an easy 225, I was in the gym without a spotter and didn’t want to push it anymore then 225 but I definitely could added more weight. I find that I’m more tired at the end of the day, I fall asleep pretty quickly, and my workouts seem more intense, as far as sweating and keeping my heart rate up. Things are going pretty good but my cooking is getting rather old, I’ve been eating a lot of chicken and steel cut oats and not much else. I carb up I evening a week eating some homemade pasta from my home town….but I’m started to get bored with chicken and need to find some other things to eat. Tuna just doesn’t work for me, I’ve tried it several different ways and its just not something I can even keep down, eeeeggghhh, just thinking about it makes me sick. Welp everythings going good so far, hoping to drop even a little bit more BF!

So I like to mix up my cardio quite a bit and keep changing my workout routines about every 4 weeks. I just moved to a new city and thought i would give yoga a try. I’m not very naturally flexible and thought this would be a good way to start improving my flexibility. I did a class on sat. morning and this morning, sunday, and it was a crazy good workout and I can already feel my body loosening up. I just did a few beginner classes, but am hoping to try some of there strength and conditioning classes. I think doing these classes along with my 4 day splits will keep my body guessing and hopefully continue to drop the BF. I’ve also decided to cycle off everything i’ve been taking lately. I’ve been on NO Xplode for awhile now stacked with a thermogenic usually, and i’ve lost a little of the energy and intensity I normally have in the gym, but i’ve been able to complete my workouts, they seem harder now, but i think my body needs a break from these supplements. I figure i’ll take at least a few months off from taking those and hope that i can maintain or even drop my BF. I’ve decided I will keep my vitamins, protein, and l-glutamine to help my muscles and body recover, but as far as energy and thermogenics i’m hoping my cardio, yoga, and splits will combat that.

So today I joined a new gym, I recently moved down to denver and thought that I’d give 24hr fitness a try for a month to see how I like it. It was only $37 so nothing crazy expensive, but today was my first day there and I dont know if I like it. I was probably there at the worst time possible, like 6PM, and it was just fkin crazy busy, and I was able to get most of my workouts done without a problem, but for a gym of that size they only had two machines for squats, I dont like the smith machine so I wasnt able to get in that part of my w/o but I’m hoping that if I start going at my normal times, mid-morning 830-11, that it will not be as crazy. Hhhmm….what a day….

So I got back from vacation a few days ago, was home visiting the family for 10 days. While I was there I managed to workout 8 of the ten days I was there, including 6 days of my weights and then two days of long runs. My eating wasnt bad till the end of my trip. I had to many family members and friends to see that all wanted to go out for lunch and dinner so I ended up eating out way more then I’d like to, but in all I only gainned about 1.5lbs. Not bad at all, once back in town i’ve come up with a new 3 day split. Also while I was home my mom was nice enough to buy me a sigg water bottle. I’ve wanted one for a bit but havent seen one that I really like, then i found this one. Its sigg 100 yr bottle. Its awsome, and i drag that thing everywhere with me now which keeps me more then hydrated.

headed back to mlps for a visit with the fam….yay!…so I’ll be gone ten days, and I’ve been trying to plan my w/o as best as possible…I got all my supps with me, although my suitcase is friggin huge now, but a small sacrifice. I already got my family membership for my gym back home ready to go, and while I’m visiting my cabin I play to run and I brought my speed rope with me. I’ve told my parents that I’ll be doing alot of cooking for them, my coded way of saying I’m gunna eat just as good here as I do back home in Vail. my only thing is visiting the old friends, lots of them drink excessively and the last thing I want to do is slide back on all my progress. but I’m strong and not the same person I used to be so I think it’ll be ok, hopefully they can understand that. maybe I’ll jst stick to mi vino! Love the red wines!

so today I was visiting Denver and I normally buy all my supps here at bb.com but I was running low on animal paks and am flying to MN on Thursday so not enough time to order and then I saw online at vitaminshoppe they had a sale 44 paks for $22…which isn’t bad so I stopped in and picked up some, but there was so many other things in there that I wanted to try. everything from musclepharms bullet proof to animals stak, but bb.com has a better deal on Jack staks so I’ll wait to order that now. but I did wind up get some on cassien protein, some l-glutamine powder and of course my animal paks…

had an awsome day in the gym today. it was my off day from lifting so I started with 20 mins on the elliptical, did interval trainning on that, then my new fav cardio workout speed rope trainning, started at 50 worked up to 225 then back down to 50 in 25 step increments, in between the sets I did abs and legs workouts. then I finished up my day with 20 mins in the stairmaster. felt good and sweated my ass off! now I’m about to make some home made guacamole, never realized how much I loved avocados, then I cook up some chicken boobs and use som corn tortillas! taste so friggin good it all most makes me think it’s unhealthy but since I’m makig it and know what’s going In I can say it’s my new fav meal.

…and see it! I’ve dropped down to my goal of 10% BF and maybe even a little below that now. I’m now shooting for a solid single digit, maybe 7-8%. I’ve kept my eating habits on point, took a week off from working out due to a pinched nerve and it actually helped rest my body and I came back stronger and with more energy then ever. My workouts have been great, I’m now working on some new 4 day splits so as to keep my body guessing. I’ve upped my Cardio sessions to about 40 mins in the gym on workout days including, elliptical, stairmaster, stationarybike, and speedrope trainning. I’ve also been running outside a few days a week trying to do long distances of about 8-9 miles. I’m always looking for a good new cardio workout. I thought about joinning a softball league but the only ones close to here are all beer leagues and i think would just encourage me to drink more, which is not what i want or need. I’m hoping to get some new pictures up soon as I havent put a progress pic up in about 1.5 months, but thats it for now!
