Today my neck was worse! I could hardly move - even driving was painful, especially taking off and corners. Luckily I managed to book an appointment and see the physio, so it’s feeling a little better. I was still determined to exercise so just did cardio and tried not to move my head at all!!

A great start to the week in terms of training and diet. Yesterday I did a fitness shoot for the advertising material for a women’s gym chain which was a lot of fun, I’ll post these pictures when I receive them. Unfortunately I injured myself today and pulled a neck muscle while I was doing a handstand hold, I’m hoping I should still be able to do cardio tomorrow without too much trouble.

Had a bit of an off day which I was not happy about since my week was going perfectly, but these things happen! I missed my workout because I got a flat battery and trying to find someone with jumper leads cut into my gym time (I really should get some!), couldn’t fit it in later in the day, then ate some food I wasn’t meant to tonight. I find if I workout I will eat well, but if I miss a workout it makes it harder to stay on track with my diet. Anyway, tomorrow is a new day and I’m getting up bright and early to go for a big run

Only 3 days into the week and it’s getting tough! I felt hungry during the day, and hanging out at burger king while my friends ate dinner didn’t help too much! But I’m proud to say at no point of the day did I give up. I think my psychological toughness has definitely improved, which was an area I used to struggle with. It wasn’t until I read that to be a competitor, you will have to accept that you will be hungry most of the time. Before I knew this, I would eat according to my diet plan and extra just because I got a bit hungry. Now when I’m hungry I’m ok with it, and I know in time my body will adjust to having less food than what it’s used to.

Today’s training was awesome, I didn’t feel like doing it but knew I’d feel better afterward, which couldn’t of been a more accurate prediction! That always happens
Now for a big challenge. I’ve decided that as an extra incentive for achieving my goal by Christmas time, I’m not allowed to buy any new clothes, shoes or accessories for myself (or make others buy them for me!) up until I reach my goal! This is going to be so hard for me because I love new clothes, but all the more incentive for me to reach my goal!!!!

Today I had a bit of a cheat day, and then didn’t feel like exercising. I managed to pick myself up and get back on track for my last two meals so I’m now back up on the horse. I really hope I didn’t ruin all my hard work from this week… I now know I have to work on keeping my weekends consistent!
