Oh! So THIS is a blog??
Thursday, January 25th, 2007It took me awhile to catch on to that this is where I put my journal entries, lol. I am soo happy to have found this website at this time in my life when I’m really ready to commit. I have succeeded in making my workouts routine part of my day.
I have always been really into ‘convenience’ and the fact that the gym is directly on my way home I just figure it into my daily schedule. For now Im only doing co minutes cardio because #1 it’s do-able at this stage in my transformation and #2 I have ALOT of weight to lose , so I will continue to ‘upgrade’ my commitment.
I ‘officially’ started Dec 26, 2006 so tommorow will be one month exactly. I’m happy with my results so far.
Today I posted my measurements. I feel that being fully open and honest this will encourage me to look forward to being able to update my progress as my body improves.
When I think about how far I have to go it is pretty overwhelming so I am trying to just take it ‘one day at a time, one pound at a time, one inch at a time’. who wouldnt want instant success? This is alot different now at my age and my highest weight ever than it was years ago when I THOUGHT I had a weight issue.
Oh well, if only we could just have all the wisdom and understanding without having to sometimes learn things the hard way!
I was soo busy throughout my 30’s(raising my kids, going to nursing school and beginning my new career that I really let my physical self go to H-E-double hockeysticks!! I have to admit I enjoyed eating to oblivion, never denying myself the delicious foods that I overly indulged in but now the time has come to pay!I will reverse the negative effects that unhealthy lifestyle dumped on me. Thank goodness it’s never too late!
