Today was supposed to be chest but because i did so much push-ups yesterday i decided to do shoulders today instead. Did 4 sets of 10 Front delt raises and 4 sets of side raises. Then moved to shoulder press-ups. I decided to do some lunges w/o weights. After 4 laps around the track of lunges i was crawling out of the gym. I under-estimated the power of the lunge. i had no clue it was as crippling as it was. My thighs are so swollen sore i can not bend down for nothing. hopefully i will alright by tomorrow evening.

After being out of the gym for a week due to a cold. I went yesterday and focused on back. Doing various exercises for my lats and lower back. Also did the deadlift for the first time. Starting off with two 45lbs plates. I did 8 sets with about 7 reps. I kinda like deadlifts, its a pretty good exercise, i immediately felt it in my hamstrings, ass, and back. After the deadlifts i wanted to go back and do some more back exercises but i was so wore out i couldn’t do much. So that ended my day yesterday.

Did legs today. After stretching for about 15 mins i feel that i am still sore from working legs two days ago. I thought that i had enough time to heal. Started out doing squats with a 45lb plate on each side doing 10 reps for the first set. Then adding another 45lb plate doing 3 reps with 6 sets. I was going to bump up a little more weight but i didnt. Went over to the leg press and loaded the machine with 270lbs focusing on getting my knees deep in my chest. I only did 6 sets with 8 reps each. After finishing my legs i wanted to do more of my back (lats) because i felt my workout from yesterday was not enough. Did some bent over rows with some free weights, 10 reps with 5 sets, then did some pull downs and some seated rows. I dont know if i was pulling more to one side of my body then the other because the right side of my stomach was aching while doing the pull downs. I ended my workout short and called it a day.

Its pretty easy to get any machine you want on Friday night at the gym. I wish it was like that all the time. Working mainly on back today. I am trying to get those killer lats that look like wings!! Did lat pull downs starting at 90lb and increasing up to 150lb and then back down. After the pull downs switched over to the pulley to do some rows again starting with 90lb and goin up to 130lb and back down again. Moved over to a machine that simulates the movement of lat pull down. Did a few sets of about 8. Finished the day doing dips, 3 sets of 15. Immediately after leaving had a protein bar. Came home and had a baked sweet potatoe and some tuna helper. Time to crash now!
