AGE is just a number…..
Elissa Schlichter is heading into this weekend’s NPC Master’s Nationals and looking great. This is a recent photo shoot and she looks great. This is the physique of a 49 year old figure competitor. She turns 50 in January and looks more fit than most 25 year olds. She tells me, “I want mainstream people to get that little obsession and dedication to health & fitness that can help slow down the aging process.”

Elissa on the beach last weekend.
It looks like you’ve found a winning formula for looking young. Best of luck this weekend!

Yep, age is NOT an excuse. It’s sad to see most of my peers in bad shape, with unhealthy eating habits & the start of a long road of health problems……most of which can be avoided.

By maintaining a good exercise regimen, you can’t stop the hands of time but most certainly can slow them down.

They almost need a core section on BB.com for those who think they are "too old" to see that it CAN be done. People like Elissa and oldsuperman are examples that fitness and beat age.

I saw Tom Watson this weekend on the golf course and while it was a little saddening to see him lose it on the final day it was great to see him out there one-upping the younger guys. It’s not about the age. Its about the attitude

I agree with her on the aging………..I just turned 43 in july,2009 and don’t look it or feel it. I have workout and exercised off and on since I was 16.
