10 Days Pre-Breast Augmentation

So I’ve had some time to think about my upcoming surgery and I’m feeling much better about my decision.  I think 2 weeks completely off working out will be good for me.  I’ll continue to eat clean and hopefully, everything will proceed smoothly.  I’m getting excited about having boobs.  I mean, to be able to buy an bra without padding…I can’t wait!

Size is my main concern right now.  I’ve been told that most women tend to wish they had gone bigger, but I remind myself that I’m not like "most" women.  I’m more practical.  Not doing it for anyone but me.  And…being athletic, my worry is that I’ll go too big and they’ll get in the way, be an annoyance.  So…I’ve been looking at pictures and pictures and pictures trying to decide.  My plastic surgeon suggested a small to medium C and I’m starting to think that would be about right.  I’m not looking for the "OMG she got boobs" reaction, but more of the "Did she get boobs?" kind of thing.  DEFINITELY no super-sizing for me!!

The saline vs. silicone decision has already been made…going silicone…due to my leanness…doctor said they would look more natural and be less prone to visible rippling.

Anyway…pre-op appointment is Tuesday which will be EXACTLY one week before BA Day!!

First time I comment on someone speaking about their breasts …..lol

But, I definitely think that it is a good idea not to go into the super-size-me triple D’s or something like that because those that do end-up looking like freaks .

Anyways Hope Everything goes well with that .

I agree bigger is not always better. I was going to say no more than a full C cup. After looking at your pics & reading what your doc says, i think a nice C would be perfect.. they will stand out on you very well. U will definetly turn some heads. Best of luck & a speedy recovery. blw cant wait to see the results. Bob

Wow Shannon I’ve got to say I’m surprised by this. conversations we’ve had in the past made me think you’d be the last one to ever get a BA but ya know what??? Women are allowed to change their minds and I know for a fact you are not the kind of woman to rush into anything without doing a little research first so….GOOD FOR YOU!! If it makes you feel better about you and your hubby is behind you then why not? Knowing you I would suggest not going larger. I would say you won’t be happy if you do….but again it’s your body so go with what makes you comfortable. All the best to you!!

I kinda surprised myself (and hubby), Bryan. It HAS been on my mind for a long time though and I figure, why the hell not? If I don’t do it, I think I’ll always wonder "what if" and I’m kind of in a place now where I don’t want to do that. I have done the research. Found a GREAT doc and I’m feeling totally good about my decision. Thanks for the comment!
