<p>I am putting together a fund raiser this year to benefit special needs children and their families,  and those families with a single parent. As a former single parent myself and also the mother of a special needs child, I know first hand how difficult it can be sometimes,and that&#8217;s why I&#8217;m asking for your help. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well we made a decision yesterday to skip Pittsburgh and focus on the Team Universe.  The show is in NY NY and awards pro cards to the top 2 finishers in each height class of which there are 6.  That is 13 weeks from now and I am at about 14% bf right now and that gives me plenty of time to be in the shape of my life &#8230;.</p>
<p> That pro card is a goal that runs through my head on a daily basis ,,, It would be a great accomplishment and I think 2 contests that close together may not give me as great a shot.  As always I will keep everyone updated on my progress and we are buying a new digital camera so there will be new pics&#8230; <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' />

<p>looking forward to doing some posing later today on this nice ceramic floor ,,, my suit is being made as I write this and it is going to be awesome,,,, I am glad we only do 2 piece that is cool ,,, get to show off my abs and nice naval jewelry,,, the one piece really did nothing to show your physique&#8230;</p>
<p>well back to my turkey burgers and asparagus ,,, ohhhh soooo goood! NOT! Train Hard ,,, never stop believing ,,, it is all you and no one else ,,, do not listen when they say you can&#8217;t because you can ,,, Be careful who you listen to in training and in diet as you are the best to decide, you know your body better than any one ,,, keep notes ,,, YOU CAN ACHIEVE!

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well I am up to 2 hours of cardio now per day ,,, plus abs abs and more abs&#8230; lol&#8230; We are moving from our company apartment to a town home next week and I will be able to practice much more now with hubby. <img src='http://blog.bodybuilding.com/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':-)' class='wp-smiley' />  I have been practicing but alone and with out the calls ,,, it makes a big difference when you have some one calling out the turns ,,,</p>
<p>Practice really tightens me up and I look forward to getting back at it with him for 45 min per day.  Yes I will finally unpack everything and find that digital camera LOL ,,, and put up some progress pics :-p   I do not think I have any shorts that even fit any more,,, they are all too big ,,,  the good news is that makes hubby buy me tight short ones hee hee.</p>
<p>For all of you ladies that are considering ever competing I say DO IT! You will be amazed at what you can accomplish and achieve.  The discipline you will learn will apply to every thing that you do ,,, yes I crave a big cookie or brownie or sweets but then I think of my goal and that gets me back on track.  It is a great feeling when people come up to me at the gym and say wow do you look different or potential clients come up and say I want you to train me ,,, I have learned so much about how my body reacts to different exercises as well as nutrition and supplements that I can use when training others.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Wow time certainly does fly when your having fun! NOT! I have definately seen a big change in the way my body is performing this time around,,,  a few tweaks to my diet and supplementation have made all the difference.  I am carrying a bit more muscle than I did in AR for this show.  I think I will be about 3 - 5# heavier.  My back is definately wider and my shoulders bigger and rounder.</p>
<p> For the last show I could not do dumbell presses as my shoulder was out of socket, but I fixed that a while back and all is good.  My hubby trained me like a bodybuilder and WOW what a difference.  We have stayed heavy the whole time and my body loves it.  My legs are definately showing as I have been squatting very heavy as much as 240 free squat and 305 on the smith.  I do legs twice a week as well as triceps and it is making a big difference. </p>
<p>Been practicing posing every day as well and that always helps.  I am sorry I have not been placing pics as we can not find our digital camera but we are moving to our permanent residence here in Houston so I am sure I will find it then I promis tons of pics :-*    I am excited to be doing my first national show in quest of that IFBB Pro Card,,, Man when I get that my personal training rates are going up LOL ,,,,, Well that is it for now will update fit stats weekly.  Feel free to drop me a line and if your in Pittsburgh for the show by all means stop by and meet us ,&#8230; I think it is so cool to have fans,,, everyone that offers their kind words and support is AWESOME,,, even if you guys out there make your sexual comments hee hee,,</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well training and diet plus let us not forget cardio started this week,,, hoooo ray ,,,, LOL ,, I absolutly love LA Fitness ,,, the gym has great equipment, great atmosphere not to mention that they are very flexible with me working as a Personal Trainer there.  I am excited to get under way for Pittsburgh (hey maybe I will meet Ben Rothleisburger - yummy), yes I am a Steelers fan, Hubby hates it as he is a Browns fan ,,, oh well there are winners and losers,,   We updated my website at <a href="http://www.nicolejoiner.com/">www.nicolejoiner.com</a></p>
<p>I will be doing a photo shoot at LA Fitness some time in June so will keep all up to date ,,, I am at about 155 # right now and we are 18 weeks out so for this contest we are really monitoring every thing.  This is a pro qualifier and I am not kidding my self about what the competition will be.  I am busting my ass and training with more weight than I ever have ,,, Doing a lot of basic lifts coupled with machines ,,, we owned a very small gym and had no where near the equipment LA Fitness has ,,, doing 4 days a week right now of 1 hour cardio plus I do 20 minutes before I work out which is a 5 day routine,,,</p>
<p> Trust me I am feeling it ,,, well that is it for now ,,, just getting adjusted to life here near Houston ,,,I really do like it here ,, Take care and train hard

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well after quite a few discussions with my husband and friends I have decided to stay with figure.  I am going to begin contest prep Monday the 9th of March for the Masters held in Pittsburgh, July 17 -18th.  I let myself bulk up a bit in my down time as I wanted to add at least 4 - 6 pounds of new muscle for this contest.  We are going to train heavy all the way up to the final days before the contest.  The great thing about last year is we kept really good notes which will allow us to really hit the mark for this show.</p>
<p>I am also planning to do the Team Universe in September in NY, NY.  There are quite a few changes going on in our lives all for the better which I will share at a later time.  I wanted to once again than all of you that continue to send me kind words of encouragement and to those of you that say I have inspired you, it is you that inspires me.  So often when I am out and about women constantly will say &quot;what do I have to do to look like you?&quot; It never ceases to amaze me that when I tell them what you have to do they say well I can&#8217;t do that, then why did you ask? </p>
<p>That is what is different here, the women here truly want to change themselves and when they ask how to do it and you tell them they follow it.  The clients that I am training are the same way, and it motivates me when they come in and tell me, &quot;You will not believe the clothes that I am fitting into&quot;, or when they tell me &quot;My husband can not believe the changes in me.&quot; To hear women tell me that just motivates me to work harder and continue to pursue my dream of one day being on the Olympia Stage!</p>
<p> I will try to post a blog once a week about my progress and some of my routines.  Until next time train hard, eat smart and stay focus.

While I enjoyed training and preparing for figure, I think this class is going to be the hottest thing going with the fans and general public. I am going to train and prepare for the Nationals in Vegas at the end of July to be my first Bikini contest.  My husband and I will be attending the Arnold in March for the sole purpose to see the Bikini competition and see what the judges are looking for. Well I will post some new photos soon as I am just now back into a new routine and getting my diet back on track.  I am about 155# right now at about 21% BF,, yeah I slacked a bit, LOL&#8230;.  Kisses Sexy Nicole.

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Tomorrow the quest for the pro-card continues,,, Cardio at 4:30 am and then training now 5x per week.  I will only be doing cardio 3x a week (thank god, lol) and changing my meal plan as I am looking to add about 8lbs of lean muscle in key areas before hitting the stage again in the 2nd quarter of 09.  I have learned quite a lot during this whole process from training to the proper supplements and of course meal plan. </p>
<p>My head is still spinning from last weekend&#8217;s win in Arkansas.  The local paper here in town did a story about my win and every where I go people walk up and say congrats and can you show me how to look like you&#8230;LOL  Hey it&#8217;s good for business&#8230; Well again thank you to all of you that sent me well wishes and comments.  I will have photos up on my web site from the photo shoot we did at Powerhouse Gym in North Little Rock, AR hopefully by the end of the week.  I hope you like them and they are available for purchase for $10.00 which includes shipping.  I will personally sign each one and if you tell me a message you would like on the photo I will write that as well.</p>
