SHIPPED OFF TO LACKLAND, AFB!

So today is the BIG day that I’ve been waiting for since Feruary! Going to basic training for the Air Force! (I’m a reservist though) Im currently sitting at the gate at the airport right now just waiting for my flight to take off at 0915.

I feel anxious, nervous, totally stoked, and relieved(cuz of my paycheck!)

cuz of my schooling I will be going into bmt as an E3-Airman First Class! Which I think is pretty cool, especially when it comes to my paychecks!

So as PT is concerned, i’m pretty stoked that I’m active in that way, I workout 6days a week, and I’ve been running about 5days a week. This was the first time in idk how long where I took 2days off! I’m also glad that I’m so into working out, cuz I’m definetly gunna use the training there for my benefit!

I won’t be able to be on here for 8 1/2 weeks! So show some love while I’m gone! Lol ;)

    Just remember Boot amp is all a mind game…If youdon’t let any of thr "crap" bother you, you’ll breeze right through…

    I went through Army Basic Training. The PT in the mornings is the least of your concerns. Its not design to fail you or make you look bad. Its to help you improve on your physical fitness. If you are alread fit, as I was, then you will breeze through PT. Learn the combat and soldier task skills, and shooting. Thoughs should be your main force. Your biggest concern will be all the other new soldiers. Some will be team player while a few can’t leave the "hood mantality in the ‘hood. Hve fun and enjoy the experience.
